A big mistake chosing to fly Saudia, should have gone with the more reliable and reputable middle eastern airlines like Emirates or Qatar. The first problem was that the onward flight was cancelled a few weeks before departure. This really messed up our travel plans. The only other available flight was the next day, not to Heathrow, but to Gatwick. And we had already booked a separate Loganair flight to Dundee (which we had to take the loss), and buy another flight from LGW to Edinburgh. The second problem was encountered on the return flight from Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur. We were not allowed to bring our foldable GB Pockit+ stroller into the cabin. According to the counter staff, aparently ONLY Yoyo brand stroller can be brought into Saudia cabin. This was the same stroller that was folded and brought into the KUL-JED and JED-LGW flight, with no issues. We tried to tell the counter staff that GB Pockit+ is the smallest foldable stroller in the market, and significantly smaller than the Yoyo stroller. There was no talking sense into this person, and the stroller was collected at the door. And just as we feared, the stroller never arrived in Kuala Lumpur. No reply to email from Saudia. Food was unpalatable and the ICE was not working in one of the flight. Would not fly this airline ever again…
