[Warning: The following contains spoilers from Tuesday's episode of Pretty Little Liars. Read at your own risk!]

Sara Harvey (Dre Davis) was officially taken out of A.D.'s game on Pretty Little Liars, just as her true loyalty to the girls was starting to become evident. Her death will now not only remind the Liars of the danger they are in, but add even more chaos to their lives.

"[Sara] was loyal and [they] should have believed [her]," Davis tells TVGuide.com. "I think that she was loyal to the Liars and finding out answers and protecting them. She just has very strange ways of going about it."

While Sara may have raised the Liars' suspicions when she started hanging out with Jenna Marshall (Tammin Sursok), the reality is that she had a lot of the same unanswered questions as the girls, and now she'll never get the chance to find that closure.

Pretty Little Liars has a thing for body torture

"There's a bit of an addiction to Rosewood, the danger, the mystery and all the unanswered questions," Davis says. "[Sara] could have just left forever and led a better life, but I feel like if those sort of things happen in your past and you don't find answers to them, you are jarred by them every day."

Though Sara won't be able to find her own closure when it comes to Charlotte (Vanessa Ray) and A.D., she could still be a vital piece in helping the Liars figuring out who is tormenting them now. The girls will need to figure out who killed Sara, and Davis doesn't rule out the possibility of her returning to PLL.

"There's always a chance for someone to come back in a flashback or to be resurrected from the dead in this show," she says.

Pretty Little Liars airs Tuesdays at 8/9c on Freeform.
