If you stay on the bus for the full circuit, it takes about 2-3 hours, the bus stopped for ten minutes at each key site for us to get off and take photos (although we were the only people on the bus for our tour - not sure if the same at busier times).
We had an 11-hour layover at Guralhuros and had time to Uber to the start of the bus tour, do the full bus circuit, Uber to the municipal food market for lunch, and Uber back to the airport (although bear in mind that traffic can be appalling in São Paulo - so give yourself plenty of leeway).
At R$40 each, the bus tour was good value for money.

I love that Sampa has joined the list of cities providing Hop-On Hop-off tour buses. They are a great way to get a feel for a city. Our guide was excellent and conversed in Portuguese, Spanish and English... My only criticism would be they need more buses. Three departures a day is really not ideal, if you get off the bus you need to wait 2 hours for it to come back to you again. But if you just want an overview of the city this is not going to be an issue.

This is fairly typical of the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tours you find in most touristy cities, but unlike those in major cities, this one doesn’t have very many buses running. So, if you DO hop-off, make sure there is another bus still running after yours, so you can hop back on! This company doesn’t have a live narration, but it almost works better with the pre-recorded narration, since each spot is described in Portuguese, English and Spanish, without having to wear headphones for English or Spanish. They have a number of different routes, each about 2 hours long. Take advantage of the 24 hour window with your ticket, and check out the different routes!

I wish they would have expanded this project. Unfortunately there are only 3 daily departures. Can not just get off and back on as in other cities in the world. However it is well worth the price and the time you spend on it. Nice, comfortable sightseeing tour. Enjoy it.

This is a nice way to see Sao Paulo. The bus has two floors with a roof so it's a good way to spend the day if it's raining as well. The price is quite reasonable as well.

The commentary over the speakers was repeated in Portugese, English, and Spanish. When other passengers were talking around us it was hard to hear. Otherwise we enjoyed the tour. The bus was running every hour for hopping on and off.

Terrible service. We were dropped off at plaza Liberdade and never picked up again. We waited two hours in the pouring rain and the tour bus never came. Others tourists were also with us and we all gave up and took the metro. We were trying to call but the number provided was only for portugués speaking people. Mind you this is a tour guide service. What a waste of money and time. I do not recommend this service.

In similar style to the European hop on hop off systems this is a great service. I'm a young female and was travelling alone for 1 day so I just sat on the bus for its whole route and within 2 hours most of São Paulo's key sites were done!
I would highly recommend for now getting to the 9am bus so that you have time to get off at 2 of the stops as the bus only runs 3 times per day with the double decker (I think there are some others but they are standard busses not open air for pictures).
That or the company can increase the frequency of the stops.
The audio is sufficient but not as in depth and as detailed as other hop on hop offs, and the bus is not equipped with individual headphones, if is just over the busses microphone in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Overall though if you're short on time or want a quick overview that's safe and covers a lot of distance it's worth it.

I would suggest you try this bus during your visit in Sao Paulo even for locals, this is really fun and a bunch of historical information about the city, rich in knowledge.
First stop-start at downtown next to subway station called Republica, easy to go, if you want to be more adventurous.
I would recommend you to go to Terraco Italia just a few meters from the bus to have an incredible 360oC view of the city and try some drinks, really nice and traditional restaurant in town.

Great tourist sightseeing! Best way to get an overview of Sao Paulos busy streets. Nice staff and a very reasonable price. The ticket lasts for 24 hours. The tour takes between 2-2,5 hours. We had a great time!
