A cold front that is over the Central Coast brought significant rainfall to the Central Coast, especially the mountains and foothills in Santa Barbara County.

So, what does the rest of the day look like? Weather models are showing that more scattered, and at times moderate, shower activity will continue through late afternoon. Through the rest of the day, the front will continue to move over Ventura and Los Angeles Counties, however.

On top of the rainfall the area has already received, additional rainfall totals Monday night through Tuesday for the coast and coastal valleys will be around 0.25'' and the inland valleys could receive around 0.50''.

Snow levels are expected to drop to as low as 4,000 feet by Monday night. Significant snowfall amounts from 15-30 inches are possible for areas above 6,000 feet for the Ventura County mountains.

Since this is a cold front, daytime highs will generally be from the mid-50s to the low 60s through the end of the week before a ridge sets up over the state Friday. There will be more chances for scattered rain showers through Thursday and by the end of the week the area should return to mostly sunny skies and warmer temperatures.
