"Various consumers allege unauthorized towing, moving vehicles to a tow-able location, and refusing to take debit/credit when the consumer can not provide registration. The BBB encourages you to contact the following agencies to confirm this information: https://www.ftc.gov/ http://www.dmv.ca.gov/vehindustry/mcp/mcpinfo.htm."

You can file a complaint through the them.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Mar 4, 2022Previous reviewYou can take them to small claims court if you know they illegally towed your car. Also, when you pay do it with your credit card that way you can dispute the charges with your bank.
Santa Ana Club refused to release my car to me when it was not on a public road. Make sure to follow the truck when they are towing you because they don't always take it straight to the towing company. Sometimes they'll drop it off at a st while they tow more cars so you might be able to get your car then. If the lady with the brown hair in the white explorer tries to talk to you just ignore her because she will try to distract you from them. This is definitely predatory towing. - Cassie S.Anaheim, CA063Feb 8, 2024
They pay good money so bad reviews calling out Megan for being that worst person to deal with especially when the towing company is in the wrong and towed your car during business hours under a sign that says no towing overnight

Today we had an incident, it was only within seconds and our car was towed. This is the second time it happens. The first time my car was tow by this company "accidentally". Very unprofessional!!
Well I'm not letting this one slide.Helpful 2Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aunesti H.CA, CA042Nov 29, 2023
I'm filing for a lawsuit against this company due to harassment and the front lady threatening to not give my car back. I have video footage of every word the front desk lady said & i'm taking her to court. Your company is completely unprofessional and the workers are disrespectful. lady kept screaming at me when i was calm and trying to keep composure after my car getting towed. she called me names and cussed at me right away when i walked in. lady had a bad day and took it out on me even though i was having a rough morning myself. i've never felt so disrespected in my life

Extemely predatory. Ate at an otherwise empty jack in the box, went for drinks after across the street, came back to no car and these scam artists wanted $450. I'll definitely be pursuing them in small claims.

Was moving things back and forth from my car. Had my hazards on
driver snuck up... lights off... caught up to them while starting to drive off. Didn't give me the chance/opportunity to finish speaking.. let alone try to pay for the drop fee on the spot since they were still on the property.
the guy in the passenger seat got super nervous and just had the driver keep going...
Mind you my wallet was in my car!!
I arrive to the business and at this point my car wasn't their no longer than 5 minutes. Told them my story. couldn't speak to a manager. they said they couldn't do anything about it.
$400 to get my car out.
MONEY HUNGRY BASTARDS.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jose C.Los Angeles, CA05Jul 16, 2023
Does anybody have the bank account number of these scammers? I'm in the process of collecting back the money they stole from me. Thanks!

They towed my sons car and took it to their yard less than 2 miles away and want $450.00 to release it. They had no right to tow his car especially since he was a customer at the rite aid store. Total scum bags. When I asked the girl that answered the phone where they were located she hung up on me 3 times. How is this legal???

These cocksuckers towed my vehicle. I was parked in the Bristol Village Plaza Shopping Center....After going to Starbucks. I went to Juan Pollo's for some dinner....no more than a hour and thirty minutes. Came out and my car was freaking gone. Saw a group of motorcycle riders in the parking lot where my car was parked. I gave a description of the car and asked if they saw anything. A young man stated "yes", about 15 minutes ago a car was towed by a black tow truck. Called "Santa Ana Club", which btw sounds like a desperate plea to belong to a social club or something and yep they had the car. 400 bucks later...I got the car.
But here is the catch, we all know that these pussies have spotters who scout the parking lot for victims...The bigger question is what to do about it.
Those of us who have the misfortune of getting our cars towed....All we want is just to get the vehicle back....We write these reviews in hopes that the negative review or reviews will yield something positive....Well it won't. The only thing that will stop Santa Ana Tow and any other predatory tow company will be a legal course of action.
Something will be done....We all know that this situation is "business dispute", which is civil in nature, so small claims court will be the option.
I've called several state and local agencies who have provided me with some really good info.
In checking the Google, it was revealed that these flipper-heads have been to small claims court quite a few times, also losing every single time.
So everyone who has had their car towed by these assholes, give me a shout out and If everyone who has written a negative review would call or email....I can get a class action law suit going. If not...oh well...But I am definitely going to take The Santa Ana Club to court. Mark my words. Everything about this company screams predatory.... and they are not held accountable....Call the agency that regulates towing and log a complaint...call the city council...the Chamber of Commerce....Consumer Affairs....Lodging these complaints, will take a little time, but I promise you, it'll be worth it.
For those of you who read this....this is an open invitation to provide me with a copy of the receipt from the tow yard and I'll take it from there. Just leave out your vehicle information....all I really need is the name of who towed the vehicle and the number provided and also the reason for the tow.Helpful 12Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
