Q:
How's the library?
A:
Very old. Reminds me of the library in the 1980's movie "the breakfast club". I bring my laptop to work on studies and homework and there MIGHT be two open plugs in there. However, the staff are all exceeded nice and willing to help with whatever… more

I took one course here during Fall 2022 and received a parking ticket despite the fact that no parking passes were needed until Spring 2023 because they were moving to an online system. There was no way for me to fight that ticket and I received no notice of even getting a ticket.
I only found out about a parking ticket because I sold my car to a dealership, and they screened my license plate which lead to us discovering the ticket. Had I not sold my car, I would have been sent to court because it was connected to the DMV.
To make matters WORSE, I found out I got that ticket on my last day of school when we had a final exam in class. It was a night class too.
Really watch yourself here.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 1 - Nga T. H.Santa Ana, CA033Mar 7, 2023

I don't recommend this "school"- the admission department never exists when you need them. If you are patient enough to wait for more than 2 weeks to hear from them, it is when you missed the class. After that mess, they will ask you to submit an "authorization code" and more days later they said "it was passed the deadline", you need to submit the petition...for what you wanted to pay (not free of course).

This was my first visit to this campus in over 20 years. The campus has majorly improved and I was impressed with the new buildings and new bookstore/outdoor cafe area that improves the look of Santa Ana College. The Administration building hasn't changed much, still looking like the same building from 30 years ago as well as the gym. The athletic fields have gotten a new facelift and the campus security people were helpful and cordial with my request for not ticketing people like me who didn't want to purchase 2 dollars for being on campus for 1 hours. I can't speak about the quality of faculty or administrators but it is a safe haven for those in the community who need to learn a vocational skill or advance their education by taking the general education courses and eventually transferring to a 4 year school.

Santa Ana Community College is the worst institution located in the city of Santa Ana (Orange County). Firstly, this institution has False advertisements. Especially the cash for credits. Secondly, they forgot to mention SAC needs to be your home school. After I literally spoken to an actual financial aid counselor.
Santiago Canyon College (SCC) is a better choice any DAY.
Lastly, SCC is extremely truthful, they will not encourage you to enroll in courses for funds and not pay-out like SAC.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jocelyn T.Orange, CA05Apr 19, 2023
If I could I'd give a ZERO I would ! Discriminate against students and don't even actually help with all their so called resources. If staff don't like you they'll lie on you to get you in trouble. They discriminate against the disabled; hard of hearing/deaf and the mentally ill. If you decide to go higher up in the ladder(speak to supervisor) they retaliate with a false complaint.

Expect a 2 hour wait for a covid test. While walk ins are in and out. They have people that haven't register to register close to being tested making the wait longer. Workers are just sitting most of the time and get up once in awhile.
Just get a free test kit delivered. This is a waste of time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Prescious T.Santa Ana, CA017Dec 20, 2020
I first attended Santa Ana College years ago while still in high school. I had a great experience and it motivated me to apply to a four-year university after high school.
Just keep in mind that most students still think they are in high school and most professors only teach part-time.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Brenda M.Los Angeles, CA151Apr 29, 2021
I'm currently taking the OTA program and I regret taking the program here. The school does have the appropriate equipment to prepare us for fieldwork, professors are unsupported, they are never satisfy with our work , and they assign unrealistic assignments sometimes. The only two professors that I can give good reviews are Wendy and Jessica. They were a really good inspiration for me.Yes, the program is cheap but I would rather pay more and have a good quality of education.
