      Michael M Just another Netflix garbage movie. You've got to love those door-less humvee's with fully armored turrets. I mean why even bother armoring them if you can just shoot the guys legs through the open door. Should have just dropped Cavill, who seems pointless in this, and used the money you saved for some lore accurate vehicles and a better scriptwriter. Of course, is not the full packed action war movie some are used to, but it has his fighting moments, cool and brutal on their own accord. It focus its attention around the unit of the main character, a guy like you and me, that has to go through many hardships to supply the most important comodity anyone needs to survive: water. It feels as real as it gets, you will finish it and then you will think about the movie for some more weeks, wondering about the characters. My favorite character was the Sergeant, he was a man that even when things went south, he would keep going and not think about the past, but about the next thing to do. Good life lesson. It shows the stupidity of our military leaders and how the rank and file rises to the occasion, even when things go awry. Having spent years in that part of the country it was apparent the writers put in the work to make the natives authentic. The main character just wanting to get a free ride without having to sacrifice anything was also very realistic. This movie is underrated, maybe because it hits too close to home.
