The best part of being at San Leandro High School is that the social environment is not overly toxic, and I do not need to worry too much about unhealthy competition. The worst part may be the difficulty in accessing resources and inefficient administrators.
The school is very diverse! Ive met many people and so much friends, also enemies. Overall this school has a lot of clubs and academies of interest. I joined business academy in sophomore year and it was very cool! The teachers were very understanding and helpful. We made bonds with other people and grew like family. Along with so many field trips! I dropped that academy although because I changed interests and joined another program that San Leandro offered which is called ROP! Im in their medical assisting program and im really enjoying school, I really am glad I took advantage of these cool activities and now have a clear interest of what I want to do in the future. Id warn though, San Leandro High might feel unsafe because of how big and open the campus can be, there is also a-lot of fights. But we have amazing campus security to help alongside it all. We app received them a-lot! They're super cool. Im sad I have to leave so soon, 4 years went by fast. I’ll miss you San Leandro!
San Leandro High was a great high school. The teachers are friendly and welcoming. School spirit is good. Food is not bad. Proud I was able to be a pirate!
