Michael Clarke 'hires ex-fiancée Lara Worthington's former manager to clean up his image' after ugly Noosa brawl with girlfriend Jade Yarbrough
Michael Clarke has taken drastic action to clean up his damaged reputation by hiring his ex-fiancée Lara Worthington's former brand manager Patrick Devlin, reports claim.
The retired cricketer's public image took a major hit in January after footage surfaced of his wild Noosa fight with ex-girlfriend Jade Yarbrough.
Clarke, 41, lost lucrative work as a result of the ugly brawl as his slated commentator role was axed by India's cricket authorities.
While Clarke has publicly apologised for his indiscretions, insiders claim Clarke has also enlisted the help of Australian publicity guru Devlin to help restore his credibility, The Daily Telegraph reports.
Devlin previously worked as a buying director for Gwyneth Paltrow's lifestyle brand Goop, before becoming an agent for high-profile models such as Lara Worthington.
Industry sources claim Devlin gave Lara's career a huge boost after she signed with him in 2017 and helped her significantly advance her career.

Worthington reportedly parted ways with Western Australia-based Devlin in 2022.
Just days after losing Worthington, he is said to have signed Liam Hemsworth's model girlfriend Gabriella Brooks who, like Worthington, started her career as a bikini model.
Clarke famously began dating Worthington - then Lara Bingle - back in 2007, but the relationship soured after their engagement in 2008.

The couple announced their split in 2010, just months after a photo of Bingle in the shower - taken years earlier by AFL star Brendan Fevola during their brief relationship - was publicly leaked and went viral.
13 years later, Clarke would find himself embroiled in another public scandal, after footage of his Noosa showdown with Jade Yarbrough leaked to the media.
All hell broke loose after Michael, Today show host Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine, the sister of Jade, were having dinner at a beachside restaurant in Noosa with accountant Anthony Bell on January 10.

The video begins with Jade screaming at Michael before she slaps him in the face and pushes him away after the cricketer insists he didn't cheated on her with his ex, P.E. Nation designer Pip Edwards.
'I'm wrong? I'm f**king wrong! You're a f***ing liar. I can see everything. You called her,' she screams, apparently referring to messages between Michael and Pip.
Michael then tries to reassure Yarbrough he didn't sleep with Edwards on December 17, saying he was with Bell that night.

But Jade refused to believe his desperate protests and claimed she spoke to Pip.
'You're f**king lying to me. You are a piece of s**t. I just spoke to her. What is wrong with you?' she's heard saying.
Michael appears to have since reconciled with Jade as she was spotted visiting him $13million mansion in Sydney earlier this month.
