Full job description

Bayside Animal Hospital, located in the heart of Granite Bay, is looking to add a top-level RVT to our team!
Our ideal candidate is one that is already a Dental Technician with experience in complicated extractions, nerve blocks and suturing.
We will train any RVT interested in becoming a top-notch Dental Technician! We support your growth and have an in-depth training program.

Bayside Animal Hospital offers high-level medicine within a small animal practice. This is the place to utilize your technical skills while working with a fun-loving team dedicated to the clients and pets in our care. As we continue to grow and expand, so do the opportunities for growth within the veterinary industry.

Bayside Animal Hospital is open Monday through Friday 7:30am – 5pm. (Get your weekends back!)
Your hours would be M-F 8:15-5:15pm-we need all five days filled. Please do not apply if you can not meet the hours posted.

Registered Veterinary Technicians should be proficient at:

- IVC placement

- Anesthesia induction/intubation

- Anesthesia monitoring and recovery

- Dental experience(complicated extractions/nerve blocks and suturing experience is preferred but not required.

- Willingness to learn dentistry and surgical extractions.

- Drug calculations

- Produce diagnostic radiographs

- Run in house lab work

- Knowledge of vaccination protocols and flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and wellness plans

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

*A valid RVT license is required

Up To $29/hr DOE and Skills
The top range of this is for an experienced Dental RVT with minimum of 1 years experience with complicated extractions, nerve blocks and suturing skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
