S. Craig Zahler is nothing if not a multi-talented storyteller. Though probably best known as the writer and director of the 2015 horror Western Bone Tomahawk, Zahler is also a novelist, musician and animator. And with the upcoming release of Organisms From an Ancient Cosmos, he can also add comic book creator to that repertoire.

Zahler wrote and illustrated this 192-page graphic novel, which deals with the bitter aftermath of a destructive war between humanity and an alien invader. The story isn't so much about the war itself as the quest to understand the motives of these invaders and whether more threats might be lurking out in the stars.
