Ryan Fitzpatrick’s Career Earnings: How Much Is the Thursday Night Football Announcer Worth?

Ryan Fitzpatrick played in the NFL for 17 seasons and spent time with nine teams. One may wonder just how much he made during his career.

When you are a Harvard-educated man, you probably have a good chance to be successful in whatever career path you choose. Such is the case with former NFL quarterback and now Thursday Night Football analyst Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Fitzpatrick earned a degree in economics while attending and playing football at Harvard University before going on to be drafted in the seventh round of the NFL Draft.

Fitzpatrick spent 17 seasons in the NFL, where he was a starting quarterback for nine different teams — the most in league history. Fitzpatrick became the first quarterback to throw for over 400 yards in three consecutive games and is also the only NFL player to have a passing and rushing touchdown with eight different teams.

Fitzpatrick has quite the football résumé and has taken that wealth of knowledge and experience to the television side of things as he looks to begin his second season on the Thursday Night Football coverage team.

All that time spent in the NFL makes you wonder just how much he has made throughout his time in his career. Let’s take a closer look.

How Much Has Ryan Fitzpatrick Made in His NFL Career?

Fitzpatrick would begin his NFL career in St. Louis with the Rams, who drafted him 250th overall in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft. From that point on, he would never look back.

During his 17 seasons with nine different teams, Fitzpatrick would make $80,557,750 throughout his playing career. Not a bad payday for a last-round selection who would eventually bounce around and play for just under a quarter of all teams in the league.

    What Is Fitzpatrick’s Net Worth?

According to The Sports Grail, Fitzpatrick’s net worth as of 2022 was $30 million dollars. As Fitzpatrick has moved on from his playing career he has moved on to the television side of things where he is a staple on the Amazon Prime football coverage as well as doing many commercials for Draft Kings and other various companies.

With Fitzpatrick being one of the smartest players to ever play in the NFL, scoring a 48/50 on the Wonderlic Test, it is easy to imagine that Fitzpatrick spent his playing days preparing himself for what his future after football was going to look like.

All indications are that he was a class act, and a true professional during his time in the league, and those good feelings and relationships built during that time will serve him well in his next chapter.
