Penny P This movie is epic. It's so clever and engaging, and I'm positively in love with the quirky characters, as well as the offbeat direction. I have one friend who can't stand Wes Anderson's films, and honestly, I don't know how we're still friends. I am enthralled by all of Anderson's films for one reason or another. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review kavesh Rushmore is a amazing movie, with mix of comedy and fun make any one happy. #appopener https://openinapp.ytchg.world/ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Blu B All Time Classic. It's got super witty dialouge, quirky off beat humor simliar to a Coen Brothers plot half the time with very quirky characters to match the best Tim Burton has to offer without the horror elements. This is a weird and charming comedy about a coming of age story mixed with rom-com elements. The cinematography is very distinct almost like it is shot like your wattching a play...a very quirky one. Everyone should give this a try once. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/24 Full Review Teddy B A gem of a Wes Anderson film that does something that I completely did not expect for him to simply based upon his sensibilities - create a sociopathic main character in Max Fischer (and yet still manage to make him likeable). Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Joey V This movie is my Rushmore, Max Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/25/23 Full Review Gareth v A cult classic and one of 1998's best movies. An oddball comedy filled unique characters that gels together perfectly due to it's witty and original script and perfect casting. Menacing at times, but also touching in moments, this was the movie that marked Wes Anderson as a special talent in Hollywood. Must see. Anthony Lane New Yorker Schwartzman is cautious but stubbornly optimistic, while Murray is possessed by the mania of near-despair... They make the best and most disconcerting odd couple that American movies have produced in a long while. Mar 17, 2014 Full Review Desson Thomson Washington Post Rushmore is an almost indefinable genre of its own. A comedy with a menacing edge? An ironic romance? Hard to call. Anderson, the director and co-writer, and Wilson, co-writer, have a vision like no one else's. Mar 17, 2014 Full Review Jonathan Foreman New York Post A quirky, sometimes hilarious and often touching comic fable. Mar 17, 2014 Full Review Wesley Lovell Cinema Sight Rushmore” is an interesting movie that will appeal to a very small audience, but will nonetheless impress. Rated: 3/4 Oct 4, 2023 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...a consistently watchable yet thoroughly erratic endeavor that fares best in its briskly-paced and tremendously entertaining first half... Rated: 2.5/4 Aug 12, 2023 Full Review Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) It’s a bittersweet tale about growing up, anchored by sensational turns from the cast and a pitch-perfect script.
