Misleading. Non working phone number.

Denied loan. Tried to transfer me to their personal credit clean up department instead. The phone number they gave me via text was a non working number had to pick up their call back. Didnt sound legit at all.

Have you pulled a full credit report? Is it on it?

If so, you have bigger problems and need to make a police report rather than turn something over to the state.

Someone has stolen your identity. Not sure what this wasn't your first thought rather than them scamming you.

Harassment

I received 4 phone calls within 30 seconds of submitting my Lending Tree questionnaire and they have continued non-stop. I did not sign up so that my phone could ring constantly. All Lending tree is to me is a company that sells your info Toto what seems like the entire lending market.

Your ad shows up on my yahoo page as " 1.99 % interest and Calculate Payment" You rascals send my info to tons of companies. You *** should not advertise like that. You should advertise like " Get Quotes from Different Companies"

NO RESPONSE ON LOAN APPLICATION

I submitted a loan application 3 weeks ago. I have sent 5 emails for status and faxed them also, still no response and they have all the documents they need. I have been a good customer to them but their customer service is the pits. I have not had to use customer service before on my other loan but now I see they do not respond to any correspondence or inquiries.

I went ahead and filled out the information requested against my better judgement. Not only did the specific loan request I was interested in not come up but my phone immediately began ringing while I was still waiting for the "loan offers" to load. What a mistake.

Same as the other reports. I was browsing interest rates, and Lending Tree ask for a bunch of information, assuring me that privacy was important to them on the screens. Not only did I not get the data I was looking for, as soon as I hit submit, my phone started blowing up with text and calls. I have been blocking callers nonstop for two days. My bad for giving them anything, but DO NOT give this company ANY of your data. It is clear they automatically turn around and give it to every mortgage spammer out there.

Social security

I filled up an application to refinance, I gave them all my info except for my social security number. I decided to give one of the million lenders that started calling my number a chance.. to my surprise that lender had my social security number and she said she was ready to run my credit.. I asked how they got my social security and she said that lending tree had given them my number. I called lending tree and ask how they were able to get my social security number without my consent and they said that I clicked something that gives them permission to get my social security number from the credit agencies..???? WTF??? Is this even legal..
