Best Drake counters?
Question
What are single units that cost equal or less than drake and on a 1v1 kills it everytime? like Banshess are to abomination/caerne, or stonehoof vs huntress? I've been having problems with drake, I think double arcane blast (3 gold) kills a drake.
I know quillboar are good too if u bait, but any head-on-drop that beats it?

Troll outranges and kills it in 2 shots, I think either taking 1 hit or not at all.
Same with Sylvanas (a bit more expensive). She has even greater range than Troll, and takes care of drake in 2 shoots as well.
The great thing about her is that if some random abomination appears in front of her, she's more than happy to duel it.
pyromancer takes care of em. sometimes need to commit quill beast (to face away from) and something like harpies

Darkspear Troll is the only correct answer here. With big bad voodoo talent, it's the most efficient anti-air in the game. Also happens to be fantastic against Huntress.

Darkspear Troll hard counters Drake. Tidehunter can but it's close because Tidehunter doesn't have as good range as Darkspear.
this. As a drake user, i am amazed how much the darkspear troll just wrecks me. But luckily i usually have my good mate earth elemental to counter.
troll is just over performing. needs a range reduction for sure.
No, it has a big weakness in doing big chunky attacks. Dropping 3 skellies on it for 3 gold killa it. If you removed the range there is very little reason to ever bring it. Not many decks are running troll as it is.
Talentless, 1v1 situation, same level? Probably Firehammer but it's very close. She outranges Drake and has slightly higher HP. Firehammer will probably live with 1hp after winning the skirmish.
With talent, Firehammer lives with slightly more HP lol.
