Can We Please Talk About Roxy Sorkin, Aaron Sorkin's Impeccably Dressed Daughter?

There was certainly ample buzz around director Aaron Sorkin's historical drama The Trial of the Chicago 7 this award season, but we've had our eye on the next generation — namely, his 20-year-old daughter, Roxy Sorkin. Outside of her father's accomplishments as a screenwriter, playwright, director, and producer, the younger Roxy is forging her very own path as a filmmaker. In fact, she's currently studying the medium at NYU and has even directed a dozen (!) short films, in addition to publicly advocating for women in media.

Roxy's impressive 2020 short Breastmilk chronicles a typical day for a mother and daughter, including the strains on their relationship as well as their love for each other. (You can check it out on Vimeo.) It's clear that she has a knack for the cinematic, but if you take a quick scroll through her Instagram, it's apparent that she's got a superb fashion sense too.

The soon-to-be It girl's personal style is as multifaceted as she is. An eclectic mix of Y2K-era pieces and effortlessly cool staples, it's retro-meets-Gen Z, with an occasional hint of western (she's a big fan of cowgirl hats).

Keep reading to see Roxy's looks that are sure to turn heads — on or off the big screen.
