Allamuchy Township School District Board of Education

The Allamuchy Township School District has posted notice of a vacancy for the Board of Education. Qualified candidates are invited to submit a written request for consideration to be appointed for a term effective through December 31, 2025.

Requirements:

• Be able to read and write

• Hold U.S. citizenship and one-year of continuous residency in the school district (must be the previous 12-months as of this vacancy posting)

• Have no interest in any contract with, or claim against, the board

• Not hold office as mayor or member of the municipal governing body

• Not simultaneously hold two elective offices

• Not be disqualified from membership for the conviction of certain crimes

Results of a criminal history background investigation needs to be within 30 days of appointment to the Board through the state Department of Education.

Candidates must be available for an in person interview.  The date for the interviews will be scheduled at the next board meeting on May 13, 2024.

Allamuchy Township School District Board of Education Special Meeting Notice

Please take notice that the Allamuchy Township School District Board of Education will have a special board of education meeting at 7:30 PM on Tuesday April 16, 2024 (Mountain Villa School, 1686 County Road 517, Allamuchy, New Jersey 07820).  Action will be taken on the preliminary 24-25 budget.
