The Roblox Wiki is a wiki that strives to be a source of information on all aspects of Roblox. This includes its community, developers, experiences, marketplace items, and other related content.
As a fan-created encyclopedia, the Roblox Wiki is not intended to be a primary source. It serves as a fan effort to summarize all aspects of Roblox in the best way possible, while pointing the reader to the respective official sources.

- March 18, 2024 - Fandom's Wiki Representative program is retired for a new full-time Community Manager position; Saunt3D leaves Fandom.
- September 2, 2023 - Karasuneth is given bureaucrat rights by Mark Otaris.
- August 1, 2023 - The majority of the years-long backlog of unlicensed files is finally cleaned out.
- July 23, 2023 - Saunt3D (Wiki Representative) removes Ajedi32's bureaucrat rights due to sustained inactivity.
- July 4, 2023 - Joritochip is given administrative rights by Mark Otaris.
- June 12, 2023 - The Roblox News project page is created, which lists recent articles from the Roblox Blog and Bloxy News.
- June 2023 - Many licensing templates on Roblox Wiki are reworked for improvements, and the licensing options on the file upload page are made more accessible to editors. Internal projects to mass add licenses to files begins.
- October 29, 2022 - The new Roblox Studio explorer icons are implemented onto the Roblox Wiki, managed by Karasuneth and Mark Otaris.
- October 28, 2022 - Saunt3D joins as Wiki Representative.
- October 9, 2022 - The years-long backlog of Special:UnusedFiles is finally cleaned out, making the UnusedFiles page actually usable.
- August 30, 2022 - Karasuneth begins cleaning out the years-long backlog of Special:UnusedFiles.
- July 19, 2022 - The ROBLOX Wikia group is renamed to Roblox Fandom Wiki.
- April 2, 2022 - Multiple updates to the notability policy are established, including the formal addition of a grandfathering policy.[1]
- November 5, 2021 - Pcj leaves Fandom, and the Roblox Wiki no longer has a Wiki Representative.
- August 10, 2021 - Discussions are added to the Roblox Wiki.
- June 1, 2021 - The Roblox Wiki is migrated to Fandom's new FandomDesktop layout.
- May 14, 2021 - The Roblox Wikia is renamed to the Roblox Wiki. The policies and guidelines also get an organizational overhaul.

- September 23, 2020 - Article creation criteria for User Generated Content (UGC) items is removed from the notability policy due to a sudden change to Roblox endpoints.
- July 7, 2020 - 0Michael105 is given administrative rights by Mark Otaris.
- July 3, 2020 - The wiki's styling and wordmark are updated.
- April 9, 2020 - The bot editing program (editing through Roblox Wiki Bot) is discontinued per a private announcement by Thundermaker300.
- December 9, 2019 - The previous forum is disabled by Fandom staff.
- December 5, 2019 - The wiki-style forums at Forum:Index are brought back due to global changes on Fandom requiring the removal of the current forum.
- October 25, 2019 - New notability criteria is added, making many more users notable.[2]
- October 11, 2019 - The home page is restructured, using concept ideas from Bluerock.
- September 28, 2019 - A new command is created for the Roblox Wiki Bot allowing page creation with some auto-filled parameters (using Roblox endpoints).
- September 18, 2019 - Bluerock joins as Wiki Representative, replacing PsiSeveredHead due to inactivity.
- August 19, 2019 - Edit notices are added to place and player pages.
- June 1, 2019 - List of credible sources is created, outlining exactly what sources are allowed to support information. Additionally, PsiSeveredHead joins the wiki as the initial Wiki Representative.
- April 1, 2019 - The Roblox Wiki Discord server's icon is changed to Thundermaker300's old icon. Additionally, the server is renamed to "Thundermaker300 Wikia" and a new channel, #talk-about-thundermaker300, is created.
- October 23, 2018 - The staff page is created.
- July 18, 2018 - Karasuneth is given administrative rights by Mark Otaris.
- October 19, 2017 - The Chat feature is disabled by Acebatonfan due to the creation of the Discord server.

History[]
- The following is a created account by current wiki administrators whose introductory histories on the wiki range from 2011 to now. This information may not be 100% accurate and is incomplete.
2007–2011: Founding & adoption[]
Originally named the ROBLOX Wiki, the wiki was founded in November 2007 by Leira77 and was promptly abandoned. The wiki, in a state of disrepair, was later adopted by Ajedi32 in 2010 where it was "resurrected" and may be attributed as a new start for the wiki.
2012: The ROBLOX Wikia[]
The wiki leadership has switched hands many times over its history, first in 2010, and again in 2012 would start a transition to switch hands over to Colgatecity (later PeterPeter5000). As the leadership transitioned, the wiki transitioned itself and was officially renamed to ROBLOX Wikia, a moniker already adopted by its community of editors to differentiate it from the official Roblox Wiki hosted by Roblox (now known as the Roblox Developer Hub). The year of 2012 can be bookended with the wiki's first and only appearance in the Roblox blog,[3] which can be credited as the introduction to the wiki for many new editors.
