Got Me Going In Circles

Tried to get help to update new phone #. Support sends expired access codes then says see the text they sent to your phone (the number you no longer have), which is why you need to make a change in the first place! Then I tried uploading personal ID. No option for the fact that the ID is already on the computer and can EASILY upload to verify! I'll stay with more seasoned financial platforms. No personal chat or customer help!

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Robinhood deactivated my account for no specific reason. Upon returning to Robin Hood after a year, I was hung up on numerous times. They have a call-center outside of the United States in a foreign country so that is something to consider before joining.

This company needs to be investigated

This company needs to be investigated. Fake reviews on apple, stealing money from peoples brokerages, their support team literally doesn’t exist. They are from a different country and quite literally are too dumb to do A SINGLE THING. Like literally anything lmao.

They will close your account and restrict it for no reason tho. They are just horrible people. Doesn’t matter to them if you banked with them for 5 years. They are quite literal scum

the support team is aweful

the support team is aweful, I needed help with my account and they kept me on hold almost an hour so now I will use another platform for my investments. what a disappointment.. I will not be using my account anymore.. what a joke. invest in your customer service

WARNING - Nothing but problems with Robinhood

I opened a Roibnhood account, sent them about $6000 in Crypto. I wanted to margin it but couldn't figure out their software. I did some research online that said you can't margin Crypto on Robinhood. I tried to send my Crypto back to the exchange where I originally sent it from they locked my account. I looked up their phone number on Google and called them. Turned out that number was a scammer that asked all kinds of Phishing questions and tried to get me to install screen viewing software. That's how I knew it was a scammer. I got a hold of real Robinhood support and their support started asking me all kinds of phishing questions, I answered a whole bunch of them and they said it would take 4 days. Anytime I call again, it's like I'm starting over again with all the same questions I've already answered. Their app wants me to upload a picture of my drivers license and a selfie, which I have done but it keeps telling me I have to do it. Then it says they already have it. After that it puts up screen that says Opps, Try again later. I've done this like 20 times to only have the same thing continued to happen. I have requested multiple time for them to cancel my account, sell my Crypto and send me my money. They continue to lock my account and their app continues to do the same thing day after day. This has been going on for 11 days now. They will not refund my money.

Can't Deactivate

Robinhood has been sending me notices for over 2 years and finally thought I was going to find out what is going on since I discontinued investing with them years ago (I discontinued for personal reasons and not because of them). I found out I have $1.25 in an account, so I want to sell and close my position so I can stop getting the damn emails. After 4-5 attempts to deactivate my account, I give up. if they want to sit on my $1.25 forever, let them do it.

P.S. I am sure their customer service is overextended by people like me who just have a small amount to retrieve, but no way of doing so without actually contacting them directly. If they fixed their software and allowed people like me to "go away" I can't believe their efficiencies would not increase exponentially.

they excercised my credit spread option…

they excercised my credit spread option to close it , which cost me 100% of my profit , they keep using excuse they do that so people wont lose money, or imply they dont have funds to cover position , i put up my own funds for spreads, so everything is fully covered by that and other half of spread , they are thieves and cons, i have made complaint to sec and ripoff report , if anyone is interested in filing a class action suit against robinhood im all for it..they pick and choose what they do and think that your money is theirs , they need to be held accountable..

Crooks!! Stealing your money. Stay away.

Crooks!!! They don’t like me sending crypto out so they lock up my account. So I say fine I don’t need you to send crypto for me. I will just withdraw all my funds. Lock me out of being able to do that.

I’ve tried 20 times to get a phone call and they say they’re calling but surprisingly there’s no missed calls on my phone

I did have one customer service rep, which was very good and he put me in touch with somebody in some far far away, land that could not even speak English. I asked him why they were locking my withdrawal account out and he had no reason, but he got very ignorant and started asking a lot of personal questions. Not questions that are related to the account in any way. Personal questions.!! I asked to speak to a supervisor and said that I am recording this call, which is when he flipped out and said oh we do not allow any recording of any calls and he hung up the call. I tried calling back under the same number I was given, and he locked me out. It’s been weeks now and I have been unable to reach anybody from Support again will end up in a lawsuit and a fling with the federal government. they think that Your money is their money!!

Horrible customer service full of…

Horrible customer service full of unqualified peoples who cannot read till the end what you asking them to help with. They are lying and do there own interpretation, refuse to escalate. Web site was changed even without letting customers know and make aware of these changes. They replace something which works with something which is broken.

Robinhood has THE WORST customer service system on the planet!!! They've had $5000 LOCKED UP for almost 2 weeks now NOT EARNING INTEREST somewhere else!!! I've processed all the KYC paperwork and they STALL STALL STALL!!! I WANT MY MONEY!!!!

Robinhood has had my account restricted…

Robinhood has had my account restricted for nearly a week in the name of keeping it safe. I have given pictures of myself and my pdf bank statements proving my identity and spoken to their representatives 5 x only to be told it will take several days longer for them to review my account. I have almost 200k frozen and losing investment opportunities due to their incompetence and hold up on my account. I actually feel like one star is way too generous for this company and would rather give like 0.25 stars due to poor customer service and prolonged restrictions on my account.

UK driving license for them is "from the wrong country"

FYI, (a) for Robinhood a UK driving license is "not from correct country", and (b) if you try contactinng support about problems with verifications, it sends you back saying "you cannot access our customer support unless verified". Thank you guys for such clear warning about what might happen next - I've got your message clearly and forgetting about your existence

Tired of Being Unable to Withdraw what is MINE!!

I have been on this site for 4+ years and lately I have found that my withdrawal amount is not true. Below is what the site shows as of 9:48 p.m. on 4/5/24 yet when I go to withdraw it states I only can withdraw $7.14!!!

Signed up so I could trade and they are…

Signed up so I could trade and they are insisting I provide them with a tax return showing my NI number before I can trade. I’m a member of most other trading platforms and have never been asked for this. I’m not prepared to give them that kind of info just so I can buy some shares I’d rather go with someone else cause it rings alarm bells to be honest.

Ive used RobinHood for years and havent…

Ive used RobinHood for years and havent had any of these experiences listed. My money is instantly available to buy stocks even before the money arrives. I have never had a problem withdrawing money, Unlike Binance.us which stole all my money. There were a couple of incidents during the Gamestop Run Short, but for a free trading service, its a small bug. And now with 24 hour market trading, crypto trading. When compared to Crypto.com that charged me $35 to sell my crypto without even disclosing it, Robinhood has never robbed me like the other two companies I mentioned.

I have brokerage account with different…

I have brokerage account with different legiate banks and they are always easy to deal with. Robinhood is anxious for you to invest but not so anxious when you want to withdraw funds that have been in my cash account for 3 weeks. Always a different reason when speaking with them....I do not recommend Robinhood to an investor. Thank goodness my major invesment accounts are not with them...This is just a fun account to test how they do business....NOT SO WELL!!!!!!!

I feel very suspicious that Robinhood bots are trading against my account.
_From over $400k down swiftly to $165k:
For the last 12 months, every time my balance crosses the $200k threshold, you can see a violent & swift drop to bring it back down below that. This can’t be a coincidence because it happens every single time.

Worst trading app

Worst trading app.

Won't let you access your own account
Taken me 40 minutes of multiple verification attempts and I still can't get into my account. Verification texts don't come through and emails codes don't work. Then you don't recognize my ID card.

Calls made to my phone are going to my voicemail. I can't get a hold of you by the chat through the app.

Joke company!!!! You take so much money and you can't offer real time support.
