Isabella Rossellini, 66, posts a photo of her daughter breastfeeding backstage at the Dolce & Gabbana show - before strutting her stuff on the catwalk with both her kids and her baby grandson

  • Isabella has been modeling for the brand since the '90s
  • On Sunday she walked in the Milan show with her 25-year-old son Roberto and 35-year-old daughter Elettra

  • They were also joined by Caleb Lane, Ronin's father

Dolce & Gabbana's Milan runway show was truly a family affair on Sunday, as three generations of an iconic celebrity family walked the catwalk together.

Isbaella Rossellini, 66, is no stranger to the designer's runway, having modeled for Docle & Gabbana since the '90s.

But this weekend she was joined by her adult children and even a baby grandchild as she stormed the catwalk for the brand's Spring 2019 show.

Isabella looked at ease as she walked out during a seriously celebrity-packed show on Sunday.

She wore a ruffled white shirt, embroidered blank pants, and a sweeping brocade and lace jacket.

But she didn't walk alone. To her right was her 25-year-old son Roberto Rossellini, whom she adopted, in a coordinated outfit of black pants and a silvery brocade tuxedo jacket.

Roberto — not to be confused with Isabella's father, who had the same name and was married to Ingrid Bergman — has been making a name for himself in the modeling world for the past couple of years, and has walked for Dolce & Gabbana in past shows.

To Isabella's right was her daughter, 35-year-old model-turned-food-writer Elettra Rossellini.

Elettra was a bit more over-the-top in her floral dress, which was accessorized with black flats, large dangling earrings, and a crown.

In her arms was her son, Ronin, who wore shorts and a T-shirt and looked out at the crowd.

According to Vogue, Elettra even paused to nurse the little boy shortly before the show began.

They were also joined by actor Caleb Lane, Ronin's father.

After the show, the family all posted pictures from the event, with Roberto writing: 'Thank you again for letting us walk as a family.'

'The Rossellini family coming strong with the newest little guy on his first big move! he added.

Elettra also took some time to reminisce about her mom shooting a Dolce & Gabbana campaign 30 years ago.

'One of my earliest childhood memories is watching my mom shoot one of the first @dolcegabbana campaigns with @stevenmeisel_. I was very young - only about 5 or 6 years old - but I remember the clothes and the attitude to this day: Glamourous, fun, irreverent, and classic, all at the same time,' she wrote.

'As I've grown up, I've always looked to their clothes for inspiration and imagination. To have the wonderful opportunity to walk in the Dolce & Gabbana show with my family yesterday, with our baby son in tow, was a dream come true.

'Thank you Domenico and Stefano and the entire Dolce & Gabbana team. We had an absolute blast and are truly thankful.'
