Robert Redford's Grandson Is All Grown up and Looks Similar to His Famous Grandpa

The 28-year-old grandson of Robert Redford, Dylan, is the spitting image of the retired veteran actor.

Robert, 82, married Lola Van Wagenen in September 1958. They had four children, Scott Anthony, Shauna Jean, David James, and Amy Hart. The couple divorced in 1985.

“Never say never, but I pretty well concluded that this would be it for me in terms of acting, and [I’ll] move towards retirement after this ’cause I’ve been doing it since I was 21."

The award-winning actor, whose career spans 60 years, has seven grandchildren. One of them is David James' son, Dylan.

Dylan’s profession appears to have been inevitable as he grew up in a family of actors and filmmakers.

He turned into a writer and director, following in his family’s path. He is best known for his 2017 documentary, "My Trip to Miami."

Dylan has Dyslexia and is one of the subjects of the 2012 documentary, "The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia," which was directed by his dad.

Many people noticed that he bears a strong resemblance to his legendary grandfather, Robert, who got pinched by the law several times in his youthful days.

FINAL FILM APPEARANCE

After completing the movie "The Old Man & the Gun" last year, Robert decided to retire from acting. When the news outlet, Entertainment Weekly, asked if he would also stop directing, he said:

“Never say never, but I pretty well concluded that this would be it for me in terms of acting, and [I’ll] move towards retirement after this ’cause I’ve been doing it since I was 21."

Robert started acting on television in the late 1950s. He was picked to star on "The Twilight Zone" and "The Voice of Charlie Pont."

In 1962, he made his film debut in the motion picture, "War Hunt." Three years later, his role in "Inside Daisy Clover" earned him a Golden Globe for best new star. He became a major star due to the success of the 1969 movie, "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."

Robert began as a director in the 1980s. His film, "Ordinary People," earned him Academy Awards for both Best Picture and Best Director.

Time magazine included him in their annual Time 100 as one of the "Most Influential People in the World" in 2014.
