Dr. Mullan had helped alleviate my foot issue; however, after getting a foot insert cast, I was told it hadn't come in when due. Five months later, it supposedly was in, but when I made an appointment with their Tech, I was told he was ill that day. I asked for the office to call me for another appointment, but no one called. So I called there for another appointment, and I was told the tech was no longer there and that when they had another person, they would call me. I kept phoning and asked to speak to the office manager, who never called me back. I have since sent a certified letter asking for compensation and have heard nothing. It's been 1 year since I had my cast made. I've never had anything like this happen to me.

Dr. Mullan's clinic has the rudest office staff I have ever encountered.
I swear to god that the person sitting at the reception desk acted like I was trash.
I was told I owed a $25.00 "no show" fee that was not in any documentation I received nor was it published in an obvious manner in his office.
I suspect fraud and I have already reported it to AARP (I Am A Member) and I will report it to other sources today.
When I did see Dr. Mullan a few weeks ago he asked me to come back in a week but the office staff made me wait over 2 weeks....so I blew them off and rescheduled for later.
The doctor only took a look at my foot for a few seconds and I was only in the exam room for 10 minutes.... I wonder how much Medicare was charged for the visit.
(not to mention that I had to pay $10.00 for a bandaid.).
Avoid Dr. Mullan if you can.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kneelbefore Z.Las Cruces, NM01Nov 20, 2019Updated review
Best damn foot doctor in town. He also has offices in Truth or Consequences and Alamogordo.

I was one of your patients and sadly will be changing doctors.
Several times I have attempted to call or come in and each time I have had problems and issues with the office staff. They are rude, unprofessional and do not seem to care about the well being of your patients.
On one occasion with my wound vac attached my walker fell over in your parking lot knocking me down and causing physical and visible pain to two separate people. When we finally got myself and the walker back up your office staff didn't care or offer wound care in any way. Several other patients offered to help and this was after your front desk was alerted about the accident.
I had one lady I was speaking with try to set an appointment and she refused to let me speak with you unless I told her in detail what I wanted to talk about which is a clear hippa violation and unfortunately not the only one your office is violating.
I attempted to come in for an appointment on October 26, 2015 and was pushed off on another doctor without my knowledge or approval. A doctor in this office did my toe removal and knew of my extreme foot anxiety problems yet for whatever reason these issues and problems continue to happen.
I have gotten to a point where calling the office gives me such bad anxiety that I end up sick or having anxiety attacks due to the bad client care. I attempted to have my home health nurse call your office and she too was treated with the same disrespect and uncaring attention I was.
No one deserves bad treatment.
I don't deserve the bad treatment of problems with the front desk staff. I also do not need the extra anxiety and stress they put on me as a terrified patient.
I do want to say that there are wonderful doctors and I would have stayed in their care has it not been for the office staff.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Oct 19, 2015Previous reviewDr Mullan is a good doctor but his office staff is terrible.
If I didn't know Mullan was a good doctor I'd switch doctors. Unfortunately there are not many options for podiatry in Las Cruces.
Everytime I need an appointment or have to call the office I dread it. The sad part is that it's not because of my foot anxiety but because I don't want to deal with his staff.
The people who work the desk and phones are rude inconsiderate people who should all be fired and put in a job where you don't see or work with plants, people or animals perhaps trash collectors would be better.
When a patient calls in you need to be nice, considerate and helpful not stressful, and anxiety causing.
Get some customer service skills and stop making your good doctors look like jerks - Samara R.Las Cruces, NM71Jan 29, 2018
Please look elsewhere for a competent podiatrist and medical office. There is a tremendous lack of communication and knowledge in their staff. Simple instructions, requests are not followed. I am appalled disappointed in the service of every one here and will be looking for a different Dr in the future.

I like Dr. Mullan! I don't have a chronic issue so I haven't had to see him often but I like the way he treated me and the results. I would, and do, highly recommend him to others

I would highly recommend staying as far away as possible from this podiatrist! He was extremely unprofessional, rude to his office assistants, did not have bed-side manners, and lacked communication skills with his patients! He botched up bunion/hammer toe surgery to the point that a skilled, surgeon had to repair the damages done which required months of healing using braces, crutches, medical boots. I know of another patient who had a similar experience. He required additional surgery also to repair damage done with the initial surgery. Stay away!!!
