Lancashire stars as Trina, a young woman who, 20 years after the murder of her best friend, returns to her home town of Stoke, the scene of the brutal killing.

When another young girl is found murdered, suspicion once again falls on the man originally convicted of the first murder (Lorcan Cranitch) but whose sentence was later quashed. Is he really innocent?

This time Trina is a key witness in the investigation.
