The iconic designer Coco Chanel lived at the Ritz for 34 years. Recently Ritz had suffered renovations and an expensive painting was discovered in her suite. You can see this masterpiece called “The Sacrifice of Polyxena” by French artist Charles Le Brun in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
