The 1st season was good and as for all the mixed comments I read, well, kinda how I feel. It really began to feel like a bad soap opera after season 2. Things really started to fall apart in writers minds. I felt like they were doing well bringing in new characters, but did little with them, as they could have broke up the lets gets this over with feeling. I stuck with it, because I was waiting for Victoria to be splattered on a wind shield or something like that. The rest of the Grandsons were so boring and glad to see them go. The daughter's part was so lame and she always had the look of I hate you all and the part to play of, well, who should I believe today, oh, maybe my mom, or maybe.... Worst part, next to Nolan's wife, slash loony wife, bad accent as well. The french girl, what a mess. She could fall in love in seconds, and then be blaming and framing all she thought responsible the next. Who was the craziest in this series? That"s almost the main question. Ok, now for positive. Emily and Jack were the cutest together and Sammy. Wish we could have had more of them and less of the hateful. Even in a series like this with a lot of hurt and painful memories, as humans, we do seek to find some safe spots for our hearts and soul. I thought Emily's days in Japan were a wise move for her to learn how to defend herself an to teach her to discipline her actions. She didn't always succeed, but that made her look more human. Nolan, what a hoot, this series was doing well with him, and with keeping out cussing, and nudity. But, why does every skinny nerd have to be gay? That was so stereo typical. Why did they have to do that to his character, it just an easier target and not necessary in every thing that comes out on T.V or movies. Like really, he was cute and popular like he was. Over all I gave the 4 stars for the 1st season and - 1 for the rest. Too bad it wasn't worth all those episodes. Lastly, the seasons last episode was good, just wish it could have been the last 12 episodes made into happy times for Emily and Jack.
