This is an old leak but still a helpful post since most of the original leaks have been taken down.
Anyone know what the PLUS means btw? Is it a bigger model?
Is it? I swear it looked a lot uglier in the first leak I saw a long time ago.
I'll still buy it no matter what, assuming they fix the clicking issues, if not they can screw themselves
Clicking issues?
There is a double click issue on the g502
from the FCC registration it does look like they are still using their Omron switches. The colour is different but they appear to be the same old switch. But at least they got rid of the micro USB and replaced it with USB-C
Disclaimer: I am not leaking anything, this is public knowledge through the FCC registration process these mice have to undergo. Anyone can look up internal and external pictures if they have the devices FCC ID
Edit: I looked into Logitechs recent FCC registrations and it appears that there has been a new optical mouse that was registered April 10th (FCC ID: JNZMR0098). Pictures are still hidden because of their confidentiality notice and it doesn't even have to be a Logitech G mouse as far as I knowyeah no Logitech Far East also publishes all the office mice so I don't think it's something interestingOkay well when it releases we will see exactly, USB C is enticing though
I've seen a full tear-down thread of the 502X Plus... down to the PCB. Here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/MouseReview/comments/rq5xu3/happy_holidays_rmousereview_here_are_some_more/
It looks like that the main LMB and RMB switches are Omron opticals (6 pins on PCB), so no double click issue, I think.
The switch is probably custom made by Omron for this model as it is not available separately anywhere.
This is an awful post, trying to get karma from an ancient leak. Below are the proper pictures;

Second set of leaked pictures:

And even more pictures are public in this FCC listing.

Any info on a superlight g305?
Was planning on getting a g305 and hadnt even thought it might be a different weight than my old g102... How the fuck is it almost as heavy as a deathadder elite? Guess im not buying it...
Switching to AAA lithium reduces the weight by about 20g or so.
I’ve never used one but it looks really good. I just want something 50-60g as my personal preference. I feel like Logitech only supports one gaming mouse.
Whelps this mouse is too bulky and probably heavy too, I'm gonna wait for the 57g razer viper v2 pro which also had images leaked...
I'm not fond about not having a dedicated charging dock anymore and the 2 missing side buttons with the viper v2 pro that I like a lot of my RVU for dedicated media functions, but shit I need to replace my RVU since the the rubber grip is worn...
It's not if you don't want it to be, it's about 80g wireless with a lithium AAA and foil ball, or if you have one of those AAA to AA plastic converters, you really only need one end of those for it to work.
Your G102 doesn't have a battery in it and it's already 87 grams. G305 is essentially G102 + antenna/transmitter + battery.
Saving these
The best thing i've seen from those shots is that you can finally remove the thumb TRIGGER button (besides changing it's position). Now you don't have to worry about it till you need that extra button for DOOM ETERNAL XD
I'd gladly buy this to replace my free Logitech replacement of the G502 HERO (Had the PC, PS, both died switches of double click and now the mentioned HERO without issues so far) and have both cable and wireless fun (As long as you can tell the mouse to stay awake all the time and not turn off so you don't have to wait for it to wake up by shaking it)
The G502 Lightspeed doesn't have such a setting. It's annoying af. Goes to sleep every 5 minutes. I watch a video, it goes to sleep, I want to click something quick and it doesn't respond for like a quarter second.
I doubt the new one will have such a setting either.
Well, then cable it goes...
I had an issue like that when using GHub garbage to handle the profiles. For a short moment it would have wrong sensitivity before switching to the correct profile. Now I just use hardware profiles and I don't notice waking up issues.
Or maybe you're a responsitivityphile and I'm not sensitive to those kind of issues.
At this point, G703 and 603 fans should just give up
Then there’s me.. a 903 fan…
And me. the 700S fan...
Still my GOAT mouse
Double clicking sounds in the background
I’ve long retired my original copy cause of this, but I heard through the grapevine that it isn’t much of a problem with current batches of the Hero version.
I have both the 703 and the 502 and I love them both. The 703 is a beautiful daily driver, it’s maybe the perfect sized mouse ever made. The 502 is just a feature monster that for serious sessions, it’s my go to.
What more do you need?
Lmao they should. Us G9x fans have been waiting for a long time.
High five.
It looks rlly cool tbh, i'm probably gonna get it
Hopefully it's out any day now
me too its a mouse with no holes so win win
loads of good mice have no holes
As someone who isn’t a mouse enthusiast per se but likes a good quality mouse, mice with holes have to be the worst trend to ever fall upon the industry…
you should first ask how many mice broken are due to the holes/ crack.
sadly most problems you see in this community are: double click, scroll, side skin, QC, software, and sensor last. GOOD quality just has nothing to do with holes...
Of course. I’m not saying the holes dictate the quality. I’m saying the holes are what seem to sell shit quality mice, just like how shitty RGB sells low quality membrane keyboards, and shitty cases with no airflow and low quality construction but a lot of RGB
I agree!
And the problem is people buy that shit up! Shit quality rebranded office mice with acceptable quality sensors and holes drilled in them marked up insane amounts…
I’m getting it just because that white one looks so cool lol
Will it be lightweight?
Technically no, but it has been weight reduced by at least 30g from the current model
Honestly 30g off the original is still nuts if it retains the same feature set.
seems to lack the huge heavy scroll wheel assembly
Well, the scroll wheel is a big part, but you can shave 20g on the 502 with just modern construction. There will be a lot of weight reduction on the table for this new model.
Looks like it still has the free scroll and clicking scroll tho, with the 2 buttons in the middle
Source?
sad abaout that i love how heavy the 502 is
Could always get the old one
yeah I've got the original and love it.
Heavy = Quality
Found the video from that guy(回不去的邱哥) on bilibili: https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1mP4y1M7Km
Not much info though, just talking about the leaked photos
(edit he says the mouse is 79gram)
If it's really 79gram ima instant buy
79 grams sounds bananas for a mouse with so many features.
Definitely insta buy, but I'll see the review and the price first.
Same here... Straight up instant buy lol
wow that would be really interesting, even if i would prefer the G403.. but it makes hope, that there will be a G403X. :-)
I'm curious about the weight, but we can't seem to know that. However, to me it feels like they tweaked the shape a bit... what do you guys think?
I use a standard G502 hero, shape definitely looks a bit different but I’m not at my desk right now. The biggest noticeable changes (other than the shape) appear to be black buttons (they’re silver on the current g502 hero), the new LED arrangement and the “sniper button” seems to be a lot larger. The only problem I have with my mouse is the so called sniper button is difficult to reach
Logitech has to be getting pissed off that all their mice get leaked 😂
G305X when?

ya'll complaining about rereleases of mice from 2-5 years ago. Come back when they get to the age of my 700s
USB C baby plz
I just wonder when this thing will be released. I feel like these images have been going around for over a year at least lol. How long does it take for a mouse to go from this stage to retail?
Is it gonna have optical switches? Please?
Why would they want your mouse to last more than 6 months before double-clicking because of $0.30 chinese switches?
Wrong brand 😹 but would be nice
Looks ugly as hell but if it have the hyper-fast scroll wheel and it is relatively light I will be getting it.
This is nice but what about their double click problem. Hard to recommend. Hot swap switches would be nice as well.
My g502 started double clicking, so I'm looking for a new one, and I was considering waiting for this thing...
I dunno what to get.
Time to learn how to disassmble your mouse and repair or replace the switch. It's not that hard. I repaired 2 mice now without soldering. You just bend the metal plate inside the switch. If you want a completely different switch, replacing is always an option.
I know it sucks, that we have to do this, but it can happen to any mouse and many manufacturers use cheap switches these days.
Yeah I have considered it... I'm just so damn tired of disassembling and fixing fucking everything in my life lately.
Yes, planned obsolecense is a bitch, isn't it`?
Why go back to something that has a known issue. I switched to razers basilisk with the optical switches from the g502 as well. No issues yet. Pretty much same design
My only hangups with the Razer is the history of Razer software being very shady, and the Razer doesn't have the thumb button that I absolutely love.
The basilisk ultimate has a thumb button. It is like the paddle on the x box elite. I don't find it too helpful so I don't have it on but I think it is a nice implementation when you don't want it there all the time.
Ok but is it <100g weight is the main question
Aren't these posted like 5 times already?
Gets taken down pretty often
Ngl this manages to look even worse than the original, looks like a weird ripoff by a chinese offbrand, even the box does too!
I havent seen the first pic before, but i've already seen the others like 5 times already
Wish they'd make a lefty version
I don't think that will ever happen, too small of a market, too big of a cost.
Oh it won't ever happen, but I can dream
Most left handed people use their mouse with their right, right?
All the left handed people I know use their mouse with their right hand. I don't know a single person that uses a mouse with their left hand.
My father does. But he only uses it for office work and web browsing. He's also 70.
yes, like a normal human being, even when playing the guitar, or holding a gun. I generally use my left for hand writing, and jerking off.
source: im a lefty
Please giv us a g403 x
Great, now make a left handed version of it
This looks extremely similar to the Basilisk
You know Razer copied Logitechs G502 right?
