Oscars 2023 Red Carpet Arrivals: Photos of the Best Looks Oscars 2023 Red Carpet Arrivals: Photos of the Best Looks

Hollywood’s biggest stars are making their red (or rather, champagne) carpet debut at the 2023 Oscars.

This year’s fashion ranged from subtle champagne ensembles — which complemented the carpet color — to extremely bright and bold looks. Supporting actress nominee Jamie Lee Curtis, lead actor nominee Paul Mescal and presenter Samuel L. Jackson all sported champagne-colored outfits. Presenter Cara Delevingne and two of the supporting actress nominees, Stephanie Hsu and Angela Bassett, made bold statements with their vibrant, bright and voluminous ballgowns.

But even those who didn’t embrace the bright still shined. From former winners to this year’s nominees, women across the carpet were seen in sequins, including Jessica Chastain, Ana de Armas, Ariana DeBose, Eva Longoria, Lauren Ridloff, Malala Yousafzai, Catherine Martin and Nicole Kidman. Others stunned in white, from lead actress nominees Michelle Yeoh and Michelle Williams to presenters Halle Berry, Emily Blunt, Mindy Kaling and Florence Pugh.

Broadcasting live from the Dolby Theatre, the 95th Academy Awards will air on ABC at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT with host Jimmy Kimmel. “Everything Everywhere All at Once” leads this year’s nominations with 11 nods, including for best picture, director for Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, lead actress for Michelle Yeoh, supporting actor for Ke Huy Quan and supporting actress for both Curtis and Stephanie Hsu. “All Quiet on the Western Front” and “The Banshees of Inisherin” follow with nine nominations apiece.
