John Cusack, Briana Roy and Rachelle Lefevre star in "Reclaim."

Oh, Lloyd Dobler, what happened?

John Cusack is a far cry from his lovable Say Anything character in the new suspense thriller Reclaim (in theaters and on demand Sept. 19), which focuses on a couple who get in way over their head getting a kid on the black market.

Steven (Ryan Phillippe) and Shannon (Rachelle Lefevre) travel to Puerto Rico to pick up the orphaned Haiti girl they're adopting, Nina (Briana Roy). All's fine for a few vacation days in the sun until she goes missing from their hotel room, and the disappearance might just have something to do with a shady guy named Benjamin (Cusack).

The new parents go to the authorities and look everywhere for the little girl, get kidnapped themselves and learn various secrets about the adoption agency they used, none of them very good.

Directed by Alan White, Reclaim also stars Veronica Faye Foo, Luis Guzman and Jacki Weaver.
