The Antônio Vilas Boas incident 

Who: Antônio Vilas Boas, Brazilian farmer who later became a lawyer

Where: a farm near São Francisco de Sales, Brazil

When: after midnight, October 16, 1957

What: A red light in the sky seemed unusual. It was growing, actually, apparently in rapidly approach.

The farmer, working under the night sky to avoid the heat of day, saw it stop overhead: an elongated egg shape, three legs stretching towards the ground as it came to land.

He tried to flee but small figures grabbed him and dragged him into the craft.

He remembers every detail of these events when they took samples of his blood, stripped his clothes, rubbed him with a clear fluid and then left him alone for an hour as a gas entered the room, causing him to retch.

An attractive female: white hair on her head, red pubic and underarm hair. Attractive. Was the gas an aphrodisiac? She was irresistible but completely disengaged after intercourse. She gestured to her belly and then pointed to the sky. She was removed and his clothes were returned.

Taken on a tour of the ship, he took careful note of details–metal walls, no windows, a box resembling a clock.

Down the ladder he was escorted, with indications he should step back and possibly an indication as to where they were headed. The ladder and legs retracted, and the saucer began to rotate rapidly and to rise above him before abruptly changing direction and zooming away. He estimated four and a half hours had elapsed.

Consequences: Boas was examined by a doctor who judged his symptoms of aches and pains, skin lesions and bruising, nausea and loss of appetite for months after the episode to be the result of radiation exposure.

Real alien abduction story?

When Boas was considered a simple farmer, he was considered too ignorant to have made it up; later as a lawyer, he was considered too sophisticated. Throughout his life he never wavered in the details of the narrative.

The Betty and Barney Hill incident

Who: Betty and Barney Hill, an American inter-racial couple, he a U.S Postal worker and she a social worker.

Where: Route 3 through the White Mountains towards Portsmouth, NH.

When: Sept. 19, 1961, after 10:00 p.m.

What: Driving south from Canada, Barney and Betty observed through the trees a bright star moving erratically. Finally they stopped the car. Barney peered at the large, cigar-shaped object through binoculars. He saw lights and humanoid figures through the windows of the craft …  and the object descending closer.

Barney and his wife rushed back to the car, hurrying to escape. There was a buzzing or beeping sound; they felt a tingling sensation.

They next found themselves 35 miles further down the road and two hours elapsed for which they had no memory. They saw nothing more but again heard a beeping sound, like the one heard just before they lost awareness.

Consequences: On returning home, they noted tears in their clothes, concentric circles on the body of their car, pink powder on Betty’s dress and behaviors that they couldn’t explain; Betty had dreams of entering a craft and being examined.

The Hills reported the incident to officials and later underwent hypnosis to recall the missing time. Their case became public with the best-seller, “The Interrupted Journey,” followed in 1975 by a TV movie, “The UFO Incident.”

Real alien abduction story?

The well-respected Dr. Benjamin Simon who carefully led Betty and Barney separately in regressive hypnosis concluded their story was no fabrication, though he was unable to explain it. Dr. J. Allen Hynek, Professor of Astronomy at Northwestern University, agreed, because of the corroboration of both subjects under repeated hypnotic regressions, as did Dr. Stanton Friedman, after spending many hours with the couple and regarding them as sane of mind.

Jesse Long

Who: Jesse Long

Where: Various location across the U.S., from Tennessee to Louisiana to New Mexico

When: Repeatedly from 1957 to at least 1990

What: As a 5-year-old, Long and his brother thought they saw a “round house” under construction. A “tall man” appeared who flashed a bright light, and Jesse immediately felt paralyzed. He remembered nothing until undergoing hypnosis years later.

Other abductions included semen extraction to create human-alien hybrids, being introduced to the product of that crossbreeding, and being abducted while still in his car, the entire vehicle being lifted into the alien craft.

Consequences: Under hypnosis, Long recalled himself and his brother being led down a long hall, taken to separate rooms where an object was implanted into his left leg, remaining there until it was removed. The object was analyzed and found to be of “very remarkable composition” with “unique surface characteristics that cannot be explained,” generating “more questions than answers.” Long’s story was featured in Whitley Strieber’s Confirmation.

The Herbert Schirmer incident 

Who: Herbert Schirmer, 22-year-old police officer.

Where: Ashland, Nebraska, near the intersection of two highways, 6 and 63

When: around 2:30 a.m., December 3, 1976

What: A disc-shaped object with a shiny, polished aluminum looking surface hovered about 8 feet above the road. A catwalk encircled it; blinking red lights shone out from windows.

With the sound of a siren and a show of flames underneath, the object began to rise and pass over Schirmer’s vehicle, where he remained to see the UFO pass nearly overhead, then suddenly shoot up and out of sight.

Schirmer sped back to the police station. The entire episode took only 10 minutes, yet the time was now 3:00 a.m.  Schirmer made the following entry into his log book: “Saw a flying saucer at the junction of highways 6 and 63. Believe it or not!“

Regression sessions would bring out many new details. As he neared the UFO, the engine in his police patroller failed, and his radio went dead. Some type of white object emerged from the UFO and communicated with him telepathically to restrain Schirmer from drawing his firearm. He recalled the beings from the ship as friendly, and that they powered their UFO through electric lines and had a base on Venus.

Consequences:

After his experience Schirmer began to suffer headaches. He felt ill and had a red welt on his neck. The Condon Commission investigating UFO sightings invited him to Boulder, Colorado, for examination. On February 13, 1968, Schirmer would undergo regressive hypnosis, administered by psychologist Dr. Leo Sprinkle of the University of Wyoming.

When Schirmer returned to his duties in Ashland, Police Chief Wlaskin resigned, and Shirmer was appointed as new chief. But because of ridicule from the citizens, and the UFO experience, he was not able to rightfully perform his duties, and resigned two months later. Someone had thrown dynamite into his patrol car, and his wife left him during this time.

Looking for relief from his psychological problems, he would undergo more regressive hypnosis in June, 1968. Hypnotist Loring G. Williams conducted the sessions, which would reveal many more details of his encounter with the UFO. There would be two books written about his experiences, Gods, Demons, and Space Chariots and Gods and Devils from Outer Space by Eric Norman.

Real alien abduction story?

The Condon Committee concluded that: “Evaluation of psychological assessment tests, the lack of any evidence, and interviews with the patrolman, left project staff with no confidence that the trooper’s reported UFO experience was physically real.” Psychologist Dr. Sprinkle, however, felt that Schirmer “believed in the reality of the events he described.”

Schirmer had had served in the Navy, was the son of a career Air Force office and was so respected in Ashland that he was named Chief of Police at age 22. He could no longer serve after the sighting, particularly once his story became public, after regressive hypnosis.  He found it impossible to be effective at work. He held to his story thereafter.

The more you can become strong with Knowledge and aware of the visitors’ presence, the less you become a desirable subject for their study and manipulation.The more you use your encounters with them to gain insight into them, the more of a hazard you become. As we have said, they seek the path of least resistance. They want individuals who are compliant and yielding. They want those who cause them few problems and little concern. Yet as you become strong with Knowledge, you will be beyond their control because now they cannot capture your mind or your heart. And with time, you will have the power of perception to see into their minds, which they do not wish.
