Where do I park?

You may be able to get street parking or there are a few garages right by the market (12th street, arch street, filbert street)

I love this place. There is such a wide variety of cuisines and food from which to choose. Some of my favorites are Sweet Ninas, 4th Street Cookies, Pearl's Oyster Bar, and Little Thai Market. The prices are reasonable. Note that most restaurants do not have seating. However, there are a few seating areas dispersed throughout Reading Terminal Market. Expect lines at 4th Street Cookies and Little Thai Market.
There are many more restaurants for me to try out.
You can also buy fresh meat and seafood.
The energy and smells within the market are delightful.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 60095913286Apr 29, 20241 check-in
Love this place! So much good food, so little time (and stomach space). There was food everywhere i turned. This place is the hub for all foodies, tourists, gourmands and for unique marketplace finds. From bakeries, seafood, Greek and Indian cuisine, there's something for everyone. The smoked ribs and scents from the grilled sandwiches will draw you in if you're a sucker for a hearty piece of meat. There's a lot to see and taste. For the vegan and vegetarian palate, no worries - check out the middle section of the market for the grocery and confection stations as they border the greener businesses. The Flying Monkey makes some excellent vegan desserts! I bought a cookie while passing through.
And I got to enjoy a roast beef sandwich at Dinic's as an early brunch option. One other visit, I picked up sweet potato pies from Sweet T's pie Co. (so good!!) and even went to the Farmers Table for a quick bite before heading back on the road.
Even if you're not looking for food, which would be a shame to miss the Oyster Bar - at least walk through to check out the actual marketplace and Terminal. Lots to see and History noted in the decor. Just a fun spot. Liquor store inside too!Helpful 7Thanks 1Love this 5Oh no 0 - Apr 16, 2024
Such a great place!
The options on food, both ready to eat and take home, is welcome and always good. The variety of groceries, produce, and fresh meat give people a reason to come back. There aren't too many knick-knack storefronts and it has the feel of a market, not a flea market.
I know that this is a tourist destination but it also appears to be a spot for locals.
I would love to have something similar in my home city!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 6, 2024

Coconut Cream Donut, Apple Cider Donut, Pretzel, Pretzel Wrapped Spicy Sausage
This is such a cool place in Philly! So many different food spots to try. We just grabbed some quick eats in the morning. These donuts are to die for good, and of course very sweet. The Pretzel was awesome, and I'm obsessed with the spicy sausage--so so goodHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 19, 20241 check-in
An absolute MUST when in Philly. There are so many vendors with so many different things. There truly is something in here for everyone. Very vibrant inside.
There are so many choices: Filipino food, oyster bar, coffee shops, a pickle shop, delis, sandwich places, ETC! Absolutely loved Reading Terminal Market!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jan 25, 2024
I love food markets. They are a food lover's paradise. Reading Market Terminal's origins go back to over a century ago. They are an indoor farmer's market in the heart of Philadelphia that offers diverse cuisine from multiple vendors. The Market was revitalized in the 90's and became what it is today. I love walking around here. There is always so much activity going on and lots of food options to choose from.
It would be hard for me to list the best places to eat at Reading Terminal Market. The first time I came here, I had cinnamon-scented apple dumplings for breakfast at the Dutch Eating Place and a latte from Old City Coffee. A cannoli at Termini Brothers Bakery and ice cream at Bassetts are a must. Tommy DiNic's Roast Pork, Flying Monkey, Miller's Twist and Beiler's Doughnuts are also hot spots for food. Everyone you ask in Philly is probably going to have a different opinion on what is good here. The best thing to do in my opinion is to just explore a little bit and then grab a bite at the first place that grabs your attention. Or mix it up and stop at a few locations. Some places have seating or you can sit at one of the picnic tables in the center of the market.
There are walking food tours that take place here at Reading Terminal Market if you want to sample food from a variety of places. I think they are a lot of fun and it is a great way to learn some history about the city while you eat. They also have a cookbook with recipes if you want to try and make some of their popular dishes at home.Helpful 10Thanks 4Love this 4Oh no 0 - Apr 7, 2024
It's a tourist spot sure, but it's also great for locals to visit as well.
This place has a good variety of food that's ready to eat as well as products that can be bought to consume later. It's got a good selection of vendors where you can find something to eat amongst the many options.
It's fairly clean and well kept for it's size and location.
Prices are reasonable as well which is a big deal!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 11, 2024
Reading Terminal Market is a must stop while in Philly. I typically stay up the street and walk over to peruse the offerings at the market. It's a nice place to try multiple Philly items and not have to walk all over the city. I've had pretzels wrapped around hot dogs, a coffee, and a discounted cookie (just before close sale) all in one trip and I love it.
It's a great place to bring your family or if you are solo and just dont know what you want. I've been here early in the morning and just before close. I've enjoyed it everytime I've come to Philly.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0
