Just watched an old movie nobody's talking about anymore? Post it here!
Flatliners (1990)
I watched this movie as a kid, would have be about 10 when we rented it, and it messed me up. I couldn’t recall anything from it save how screwed up I was for a good while there so going back in, I was prepared for a ‘90’s crap-fest that lent too much on the actor’s notoriety but no. I was genuinely impressed with this film! From cinematography to set choice/design to performance to story telling everything about it was fantastic. That scene in the bathroom with the expanding walls… how awesome was that? I only have to complain about the last five minutes, or so, feeling ‘tacked on”. The rest of the film was delightfully, progressively darker. The redemption thing just didn’t seem to fit. Great film, over all, highly recommend!
