Hollywood moves quickly, so it can be easy to lose track of a performer who doesn't spend their life in the headlines. Whether it's cast members from a popular kids movie, a secondary character from a sitcom, or even a reality star, fans can't help but wonder where these stars end up.

Ray Santiago made waves in the 2000s after playing Ben Stiller's son in Meet the Fockers. He's no A-list star, but he's had one heck of a career.

Let's take a look at Ray Santiago's journey since Meet the Fockers!

In 2004, Meet the Fockers, the sequel to Meet the Parents, hit theaters with a fresh story for fans of its predecessor. The film was a hit, and it was also a major break for Ray Santiago.

The then unknown actor scored the role of Ben Stiller's son in the film, and he rose to the occasion alongside the major names he got to work with in the film.

Previously, Santiago opened up about the process of landing the coveted role in the film.

"After auditioning in New York City, the studio flew me out to Los Angeles to attend the first table reading of the script with all the actors. I was pretty calm and collected the entire trip, until I was in the room with all the other actors.

"At the time I was the only new addition to the cast in the room and all eyes were on me. I knew all the lines but still held the script in my hand and noticed my hands were shaking when I went to flip the page. After the read through the following week, I was told the part was mine," he said.

Santiago was great during his time in the film, and since then, he has gone on to do more work on the big screen.

In the world of film, fans have seen Santiago pop up from time to time. He followed his time in Meet the Fockers with movies like Accepted, American Son, In Time, and Suburban Gothic.

On Suburban Gothic, Santiago had the opportunity to work with director Richard Bates, who he would go on to work with on Trash Fire.

"Yeah! It’s actually premiering at ScreamFest in LA this week. I love Ricky [Bates Jr., director]. I have small part in that film. I worked with Ricky on another movie called Suburban Gothic, and I will do anything he asks me to do. He’s one of those guys that always uses the same actors, and he has really dark and disturbing stories to tell. I love him," said Santiago of the latter project.

Santiago has done some cool stuff in film, but he has truly shined on TV.

Following his stint in Meet the Fockers, Ray Santiago was able to land consistent work on TV

Some of his most notable credits include My Name Is Earl, Raising Hope, NCIS: Los Angeles, Law & Order: LA, and Ash vs Evil Dead.

On Ash vs Evil Dead, Santiago was featured in all 30 episodes of the show, and fans enjoyed what he brought to the series.

Ahead of the show's third and final season, Santiago was interviewed by Den of Geek, and he opened up about his character.

"I mean he’s come a long way, you know? I think it’s important that we show those details and those small parts with Pablo, because there’s not really many glimmers of hope for our cast and our characters! So we wanted to show them succeeding and having some sort of normalcy in their lives, which is a really beautiful thing."

"And I do think that a guy from after being roped into this whole madness – that is what Pablo wanted and when you look at Pablo just being a normal guy, as an undocumented immigrant, who comes here and wants that sort of life, but gets roped in to helping Ash and actually becoming more of a hero than he ever bargained for so, than he ever thought he could be," Santiago said.
