Southern Charm star Patricia Altschul is headed to court to face her former pal K. Cooper Ray, who appeared on early seasons of the Bravo series. Since then, their relationship has soured, with Cooper accusing her of getting him kicked off the show, which lead to Altschul suing him and accusing him of defaming her name around Charleston and beyond.

Now, according to The Blast, she’s been ordered to appear in court, where she will try to work out her issues with Ray, and a judge will oversee the two hash out the problems she previously listed in her lawsuit. Altschul claimed he embarked on a “consistent and extended course of attacking and maligning” her with public comments including tweets and quotes to media outlets, as well as defamation and attempting to harm her reputation.

She was especially displeased with his allegations that she had a substance abuse issue, as well as him calling her “a cheater and liar” and insinuating that she didn’t write her own cook book, with Altschul claiming he only said these things to promote himself.

Her suit reads: “Defendant continues to use Ms. Altschul’s likeness and identity to promote Defendant’s business ventures against Ms. Altschul’s wishes. Defendant offers tours of Charleston under various names, consistently using video clips, images, and text to imply Ms. Altschul’s endorsement of Defendant and his services. Ms. Altschul is an influential and highly recognizable individual in Charleston and has expressly prohibited Defendant from using her image and likeness to promote Defendant’s tour.”

Altschul states she has (and is seeking damages for), “suffered mental and emotional distress, damage to her reputation, and other special and consequential damages,” and also wants an injunction against Ray that says he is not allowed to publicly trash her. Ray has denied any wrongdoing on his part and has asked the court to dismiss the claims against him.

This will be Altschul’s second appearance in court this year, as she previously testified on behalf of Kathryn Dennis in her custody battle with ex Thomas Ravenel. They have since reached a deal to share custody of their two young children, Kensie and Saint.

Altschul will appear in New York City next week as a part of BravoCon.
