Raul Neto is a Brazilian-Italian professional basketball player who now plays for the NBA’s Washington Wizards. He’s also a member of the Brazilian senior men’s basketball squad.
Neto rose to prominence after leading Brazil’s under-18 squad to a strong second-place finish at the 2010 FIBA Americas under-18 Championship. During the 2010 FIBA World Championship, he was the youngest member of the senior Brazil national basketball team. However, he only played for a few minutes.

Later, he represented his country at the 2012 Summer Olympics, the 2013 FIBA AmeriCup, and the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. He had a tremendous performance against Argentina in the Round of 16 of the World Cup, scoring 21 points to lead Brazil to victory. Neto competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics as well.
