Inter Milan have identified Napoli forward Giacomo Raspadori as a possible target to complete their attack for next season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. The newspaper report that Raspadori would cost aroun 30-40 million.

The Corriere note that Inter have made an attacking signing a major priority for next summer.

The Nerazzurri are already going to be bringing in one striker – Mehdi Taremi on a free transfer from Porto.

But the Iranian won’t likely be the only player who Inter sign to complete their attack for the 2024-25 season.

Far from it, the Corriere report, Inter are actively searching for a profile to add strength in depth in the striker position.

And moreover, the Nerazzurri would be willing to invest a significant transfer fee.

According to the Corriere, one of Inter’s targets is a player who has already been on their radar in the past.

24-year-old Italian international Raspadori has been a player who Inter have gone after in the past.

The Nerazzurri had been keen on signing the Italian when he was at Sassuolo.

But Inter never decided to make the investment to sign Raspadori from the Neroverdi.

Instead, it was Napoli who signed the forward in the summer of 2022.

Raspadori has now spent two seasons at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. He has not always been a starter, but has made a consistent contribution.

This season, Raspadori has scored four goals and assisted three for Napoli.

And according to the Corriere, Inter are now eyeing up the 24-year-old as a possible target in attack.

Raspadori has a profile that Inter are fans of. The player’s versatility and ability to play as a first or second striker would make him a viable depth option.

Moreover, aged 24, Raspadori would be an option for both the present and the future.

According to the Corriere, Napoli would demands 30-40 million for Raspadori. But Inter may not be put off by that fee.
