Rapid City Reviews
Rating 3.79 out of 5 307 reviews
This city is full of scenic beauty. As I wake up everyday I feel really blessed to have such a blissful view in front of my balcony. This place has many hiking trails for hike lovers and is surrounded by many hills. I specially like the summer season here because it adds more to the beauty of Rapid city. When the morning sun rays falls into the surface of beautiful Rapid Creek river, it seems magical. But we know every day has a night, likewise this city is also becoming more and more crowed gradually in the past few years. Everywhere I go, I feel like surrounded by people. Moreover, due to the rapid population increase, this place has very few job opportunities. As a result, young people are frustrated and want to leave the city. If this continues, then the city will be full of children and elderly people only in the near future. I want to see manageable development around me with more employment opportunities which I think will maintain the peace and harmony of this place.
I lived in South Dakota all my life, moving to rapid city was different but i don't look forward to being in rapid city forever. It's beautiful here in the black hills. I love everything about it, i have family and friends that come to rapid so i can see them whenever. I have memories of my beloved father here. I like how my mother is here with me, so as my siblings. I would like to see the change in job opportunities, resources for helping the homeless, stop the racism against Native Americans. A lot of change can come to this city just a matter of time when and where they will make the change happen. I think only way for the change to happen is if someone actually makes a change. I would like to see More housing for low-income families, and more resources for native Americans. Rapid city has its good and bad days. Lots of jobs here but not really hiring anyone for a job. I always wanted to be a travel nurse so that will for sure get me out of rapid city.
My husband and I are both from Rapid City. I have lived here my entire life and now we are raising our three boys here. It is so beautiful in the summertime. With all the hunting, fishing and outdoor activities to do we are a great attraction for people that love the outdoors!
