I love North Hills! If you visit Raleigh you must go to this area. We stayed at the AC Hotel which is awesome and in the center of everything. Upscale shops and restaurants make this area worth the visit. Plenty of security all around. And if you are in to it, you will see plenty of cars costing way over $100,000.

This is a very nice venue and was kept clean. You do have to walk a bit from the parking area but it's nothing bad. The way they have the concessions spread out was really nice so it wasn't so clogged with people.

One complaint I would have was that my seats were behind a pole and could not see the stage. We ended up having to upgrade our tickets so we could move to be able to see. However to upgrade, NOBODY knew what to do and how to do it. I finally found one girl with Live Nation who told me to go to Facebook and follow Coastal Carolina Credit Union and they had posted a link to upgrade. I am glad I did, otherwise I would have been staring at a pole rather than Matchbox 20 the whole time.

Daughter lives on Lake Lynn so we spent our first night in Raleigh walking around the entire lake - the wildlife is just amazing. Saw MANY turtles, snakes, caterpillars, butterflies, deer, and birds galore. Bring your bug spray since much of the walk (all board walk or nicely paved sections) are in a wooded area.

It was much more fun than I expected. Couldn’t get the highest point but the enjoyed trying. Our coach, James, was very helpful and super fun. He made our experience even better.

This is an outstanding park in Northern Wake County next to Falls Lake.

The park has a very nice and informative Environment Education Center with good displays and exhibits. Also in the building are rest rooms.

There are several short trails to the edge of Falls Lake with good views. There are numerous other trails as well. Note swimming is not allowed. The park also has a ball field and an outstanding playground that also has restrooms.

They also have an overnight lodge for overnight environment education classes.

    Overall a very nice park.

Enjoyed a visit to this museum. We are fairly new to the area and thoroughly enjoyed learning facts about Raleigh. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and the entire staff were friendly and engaging.

Went here with my sister who was visiting from out of state. We were allowed to tag onto a school group which worked out great as they were so well behaved. The docents did a wonderful job and we really enjoyed the tour, even though it was just the main floor. They were redoing the grounds so we were not allowed to tour them that day. Overall a very nice albeit short tour.

I had been excited about visiting here since being told about it by a local, and it didn’t disappoint. Fantastic fiction sections with many titles I hadn’t been able to get my hands on the the U.K. quite yet as well as some popular last copies of my “TBR” wish-lists. Plenty authors visit here on their promotion circuits, I overheard Grady Hendrix is due to come soon. The women’s section was limited but still had some good titles, and I was impressed by the international section the most - just a really good and varied curation. The editions of most of the books were very attractive too. Particularly good customer service here - I was looking for something sold out as a preorder gift to my mother-in-law and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or kind to me, writing up a discreet “secret” book order as not to spoil the surprise when the book finally comes in! They also directed us to a long term discount offer due to our personal circumstances. Thank you very much, Kiwi.

Been here several times throughout the years! Stadium is several miles away from downtown Raleigh and the NCSU campus so there is plenty of space for parking and the shuttles are provided to the Westchase lots. The stadium is always full of energy on game day with plenty of food options. Beer is now served in the stadium which is nice. There are metal detectors when you enter and I did see plenty of security and Raleigh police officers on site during games

Visited at the end of the day. Buildings were not open but free to walk around grounds. Well kept, neat, several walking trails with plenty of information regarding the buildings & grounds. Will definitely return again

My husband is a fan of Western movies so I took him here and the theme did not disappoint. Casual setting.

We visited in August of 2018, but apparently waited to o long to review so I have to pick 2020 as when i visited.

This Bell Tower is located at the entrance to the campus on Hillsborough Street, and is an imposing landmark in the heart of the North Carolina State University. It is an iconic structure designed by architect William Henry Deacy and memorializes the alumni who died in World War I.

The 115-foot Monument is called “a Legend in Stone” and made of 1400 tons of granite set on a 700- ton base of cement. There are informative plaques around the base of the tower.

A “Must-Stop” for history buffs and photo enthusiasts.
