Called before booking to enquire about this hotel's Achilles Heel - breakfast. I was assured of 'the best breakfast you have ever had. So I booked. Big mistake. The room is great, with good bed and bathroom. Went to breakfast at 8.15 (restaurant opens from 6.30 to 9.30) to be told it was closed and would open at 9, or we could get coffee and a muffin from the coffee shop (which was also closed).
At 9.10 we gained entry to breakfast. The 'buffet' was not hot. In fact the sausages were barely luke-warm, and a perfect breeding ground for Listeria. Scrambled (powdered) eggs were cold, as were the 'breakfast potatoes' Thank goodness for the microwave in the foyer. There are no realistic alternatives for breakfast due to the hotel's location.
Several families complained that it was unreasonable to expect children to wait until after 9 for breakfast.
What a poor excuse for a Radisson hotel. The room is of good quality, but paying for breakfast and getting an offering that would not even be acceptable in a 1 star hotel is unacceptable given that I had paid extra for it.
I would NOT recommend this hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are delighted to know that you were pleased with our room, bathroom and the comfort of the bed. On the other hand, we are saddened that the breakfast did not meet your expectations at that time. Providing our guests with enjoyable experience is of extreme importance to us and for that reason we are incredibly sorry that we may have missed the mark. Your observations will be directed to the hotel management for appropriate corrective measures that needs to be taken. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to redeem ourselves and deliver a seamless experience on your next stay.

Bathrooms not maintained well. The shower curtain rod is supported by a body lotion tube. floor has some small broken tiles. Shower Tub is age old.
Carpets are terrifically recycled .. belongs to stone age. Entire hotel has a carpet that is very out dated. Top of it, not a great customer service.

Rooms have been upgraded with new beds, pillows, linens, etc. The dining room (breakfast) was very reasonable and the quality of the food - good. The indoor pool area was well kept, clean and the pool temp was good being set at around 84-degrees.

Do not believe the good reviews! They obviously paid someone. We paid about 175 a night for the worse hotel ever. We planned a family vacation and we all had some issue with our stay. First of all they need to update their website and say the outside pool is not working, and hasn’t been working for the padded 2yrs and most likely will never work! They just keep the water, so it looks pretty. The inside pool is fine but good luck getting a towel, and if you do it should be called a face towel! Amenities were terrible! Our key cards to get in the rooms constantly stopped working, so we had to get new ones. The keys will not open the side doors either. They use a blue tape to cover the area for the key. The restaurant was closed and only open for drinks and the smallest dinner menu that was extremely expensive! The breakfast buffet was worse than McDonalds! Our rooms were dirty when we checked in! Ugh. The hallway carpet was ripped and we tripped. The balconies have no chair, actually some room had some cheap plastic chairs but most didn’t. My husband was looking forward to fishing on the deck that he saw on the website and it was closed!!! One day we found a drunk guy on the downstairs chair! Terrible! We want our money back!

We had work being done on our house, so we had to take the cat and our kids to a hotel (we were quite nervous and anticipating the worst stay of our lives-kids are 2y 1y and 2 mo). The inside was so nice, front staff was really great. Got a parking spot super close which helped. The room was immaculate, our cat was very calmed by it even with our three kids. Very spacious too-didnt feel crammed all being in the same room (King sized). The pools were amazing, even had a kiddie pool-the lifeguards made me feel safer and they were instantly on alert with my kids being there. The fitness center was really nice (according to my husband) he never sees rowing machines at hotel fitness centers. We didn't do the restaurant (tim Hortons is where it's at with our youngsters). All the TV stations you could ask for. Beautiful views of the river from our room (though we didn't use the balcony, it was a nice option). There was even an incredible accessibility playground nearby. The cleaning staff was also very helpful, always easy to find someone when we needed something and they were very attentive. We had such a nice visit we're thinking of making this a yearly event. Thank you Radisson!

This place is horrible! From the moment we check in 6 rooms each room had issues. All rooms were infested with bugs and a bad smell. After getting our rooms switch the other room still had the same issue. Begs and bad smell.

The following day we went to the pool and the staff there sent us outside to a pool that was out of service. They allowed us to go with a cooler to than tell us we can’t not have a cooler or beverages at the pool. The day before there were other ppl at the pool with drinks and it wasn’t a issue. These ppl were extremely racist. They had a issue about our beverage but never fixed our issue with out rooms. We kept getting bushed off saying there isn’t a manager. They also provided us with a fake email to file a complaint. This place is extremely unprofessional the staff are rude. The only person who try to help us was Kenya. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

I would not recommend staying here. My family and I were extremely disappointed to see the difference in cleanliness, maintenance, and service since our last visit 10 years ago. Our non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes, and a lack of security. The security is so bad that they had a squatter in a hotel room due to the fact many doors only lock from the inside.

The staff was very friendly, but all restaurants, coffee shops and extras were closed. The outside grounds haven't seen a maintenance crew for at least a few years. No restaurants or food near the property, so the closure of all the restaurants on the property was inconvenient to say the least. The price charged for the mediocre room was much too high.

The hotel is very convenient to a lot of activities in the Niagara Falls Area. No traffic and quiet (except for unruly guests who are disrespectful to fellow guests). Beautiful views and nice little terrace.
Booked hotel because of the nice sized indoor/outdoor pool and onsite restaurant. Outside pool was filthy and closed. Indoor pool was open but restricted occupancy due to COVID. Hot tub was tiny and dirty. Pool area around indoor pool was dirty and not maintained.
Restaurant was closed.
Had to ask for room to be clean (we were there for 4 nights). We came back to our room the 2nd day at 4pm and room had still not been cleaned. When we asked for service it was minimal. Switched our towels, emptied garbage and made the beds. Didn't replace cups used. Did not replace coffee and tea used. Didn't vacuum.

I would consider staying again because my expectations are lower.

Asked twice e to get bath tub fixed, so it would drain properly. No one ever fixed it. Takes 30 minutes in-between showers to drain. Told they all drain slow. The doors to the room do not fit properly and gave to be slammed shut and pulled hard to open. View of river is nice, till porch light cuts on and attracts bugs. No breakfast

Thank you for posting a review. We are glad that you appreciate the view. On the other hand, we are sorry to hear that your stay was less than satisfying due to the condition of the room door, bath tub, availability of the breakfast and the staff service at that time.
