Needless to say when we set out to do a quest bar review article we were looking forward to it like kid’s on Christmas morning. They are a perfect for a snack when you are on the go, before or after a workout, or when you just feel like having a treat (they are that good). It’s rare that you find a product that is full of nutrients, great source of fiber, tastes amazing and is also completely guilt-free! Not to mention it’ll help you build quality muscle! That’s a win on many levels!

All Quest Bars are also gluten-free, a great source of fiber, contain a high volume of protein, and have no added sugars. Unlike the majority of other protein bars that are considered the best protein bars on the market that contain weird ingredients, sugar alcohols, and fillers, Quest Bars are the real deal. Plus, there are over 15 different flavors you can choose from but choosing which one to get can be a dilemma. It’s hard to know what is the best quest bar flavor. For that reason our quest bar review will rank the best of the best when it comes to flavors. Are Quest Bars The Best Protein Bar On The Market?

If you’ve ever had a protein bar then you can surely attest to the fact that while they may well be packed with protein, they typically tasted terrible. Like to the point where you may choose to eat the wrapper it comes in than to put yourself through that anguish of consuming packaged chalk. The good news is that with quest bars that doesn’t have to be the case any longer for you! Basically if you have taste buds then you will agree that they are the best protein bar ever created. Yes, ever!

Quest bars have all the nutritional elements you could want from what you would imagine the best protein bar would contain. They are low in fat, made with natural ingredients, at least 20 grams of protein, tons of fiber (which is rare in protein bars) and they taste amazing. Honestly when you first try one it will be hard to believe that what you’re eating is actually good for you.

The Top 5 Best Quest Bars

Cinnamon Roll Quest Bar

We’ve all walked by a Cinnabon and have been tempted by the amazing smell coming from their waist expanding goodness but for most of us that are trying to look our best we resist that temptation. The good thing is if you have some Cinnamon Roll flavored Quest Bars you can just pop them in the microwave and get pretty close to the taste of that amazing Cinnabon but instead of making you go into a diabetic coma you’ll just gain more muscle. That’s what we like to call a win win scenario. When it comes to the best quest bar flavor it’s definitely in the running. Each of these bars has:

  • 20g protein
  • 3 net carbs
  • 170 calories
  • 17g fiber

Double Chocolate Chunk Quest Bar

As far as protein bars are concerned chocolate is usually the go to flavor for most companies and then you can count on it tasting like ground up chalk, just enough flavor to be somewhat edible. Fortunately Quest knew this and decided to make an actual great tasting chocolate protein bar and when I say great tasting I mean if you had this protein bar and a typical chocolate flavored protein bar you would swear the Quest Bar was a Hersey’s bar. Many a savvy dieter has paired this some lower fat ice cream and had a delicious snack that is actually healthy and helps hit those dieting goals we all have. This is a solid choice if your new to Quest Bars and aren’t sure where to start as you’ve probably had other chocolate protein bars to compare them against, you won’t be disappointed. Each of these bars has:

  • 20g protein
  • 3 net carbs
  • 160 calories
  • 16g fiber

Chocolate Peanut Butter Quest Bar

Now we are starting to get to the flavors that set Quest apart from everybody else. There isn’t many more successful pairings than chocolate and peanut butter, one could argue peanut butter and jelly and if that’s your flavor then Quest has you covered there as well (They just about have every flavor covered). If you enjoy Reese’s peanut butter cups then you’ll enjoy these for sure but without all the calories that come from normal peanut butter cups. We highly recommend heating these up in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds as this makes the bar gooey and extra delicious. Each bar has:

  • 20 g protein
  • 3 net carbs all from nuts
  • 160 calories – ties with 4 others for least amount of calories
  • 17g fiber

Cookies and Cream Quest Bar

It was hard to really rank the #1 and #2 choices in this review as either one are almost interchangeable. The cookies and cream flavored Quest bar with a glass of milk is almost as satisfying as having some Oreo’s and milk just like when you were a little kid. The only difference being when you were a kid you didn’t care about calories! The good news is that you can have that same feeling with this flavor as you did when you were a kid but stay lean and mean like the superhero you always wanted to be as a kid. Besides who doesn’t want to sit down with a cookie and a glass of milk like they were 10 years old again! Each of these bars has:

  • 21 g protein
  • 3 net carbs
  • 180 calories
  • 17g fiber

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quest Bar

I haven’t met many people who don’t like chocolate chip cookies, I’ve found even less people who don’t love chocolate chip cookie dough! We all love it so much it’s now a topping we put on ice cream, as if ice cream wasn’t amazing enough already. We ranked this as our top flavor for two reasons; cookie dough is awesome and this Quest bar really get’s close to that same flavor we all love. Honestly it’s so good you’ll have a hard time believing it’s a protein bar, it may actually make rainbows seem brighter and sunsets so much sweeter. It’s just about hands down the best quest bar flavor as it’s also their most popular flavor, which is no surprise at all. You can get these in a 4 pack that will end up saving you money in the long run and provide you with plenty of Quest bars for much time to come. Each bar has:

  • 20g protein
  • 4g net carbs
  • 190 calories
  • 17g fiber

Pro Tip: Microwave for 20 seconds and will taste like a cookie just taken out of the oven! You can also pair these with low carb ice cream for a healthy snack that also tastes fantastic.
