Which taste better?
I haven't tried Quest. I've tried Peanut Butter Strawberry and Vanilla Toffee for Oh Yeah and these two are pretty damn good. Better than MetRx bars. I just don't like that the predominant protein is soy protein/soy nuts. Quest bar is all-whey so I'm probably going to try that next and just stick to it.

A good balance of both protein amount and at least 7/10 for taste. After finding out that hydrolyzed collagen makes up a decent bulk of the 27g protein on ISS Oh Yeah! bars, that just put me off.
Oh Yeah is definitely a 10/10 but I sure as hell don't want over a quarter of the protein coming from collagen. I understand many folks on here are all about "protein is protein is protein" but there is a limit to that. I get 105g of my protein from whey so another 80g of whatever protein will be good enough.... to a certain extent. I refuse to consume protein from collagen, cartilage, or pubic hair.
But yeah, Quest it is, once I finish these 18 Oh Yeah bars I have left.LOL at these phaggs with no forearms, calves, and neck (not traps, but neck, two distinct muscles).

No way! Those extra Calories are no good for me. It took me 5 months of underfeeding (1500-2400 Cal a day, while my calculated amount for weight maintenance is approximately 3000 Cal per day) to drop 20-22 lbs.
Thanks for the suggestion but I've made up my mind with Quest bars. All these good folks on here seem to be a fan of it and I'm liking how none of the protein is coming from pubes.LOL at these phaggs with no forearms, calves, and neck (not traps, but neck, two distinct muscles).

I'm not a fan of Collagen myself - but I was curious because there are a few other bars I would recommend that I've checking out that taste amazing, and are comprised of 'good' ingredients, but the macros aren't quite as good as Quest. Quest is pretty much top in the nutritional department - and taste great to boot. Very tough to beat overall.
FortiFX - Taste incredible, although calories/fats are a bit high
VPX Zero Impact -- Also, keep an eye out for 'Life Lift' which will be comparable to Quest bars
Detour has a few lines - the Neopolitan bars are amazingNASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist

You didn't disappoint. 30g protein (no weird protein sources and soy is not the primary source of protein) and 340 Calories. Label looks pretty much equal to Quest. There's 10g extra of protein but the Calories are also higher so it pretty much evens out.
I guess 1 box of Quest and 1 box of Detour.LOL at these phaggs with no forearms, calves, and neck (not traps, but neck, two distinct muscles).

Nice, glad I could help. Yeah for the Detour, definitely grab the Neopolitan flavor. Awesome texture and taste, they really nailed the flavor.
And just to keep in mind - they do not have nearly as much fiber as Quest, and have quite a bit of Sugar Alcohols. Not sure if that concerns you (doesn't negatively effect me, although I would like to see more fiber) just figured I would point it out. Enjoy man.NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist

Semi off-topic semi on-topic, but...
CLIF Builder's Bars are pretty good on taste, and appear to be decent macros, but - They have a boatload of ingredients. Can some ingredient wizard take a look at one of their labels and break it down to why it'd be worse than say, Oh Yea or Quest bars? (Dirt cheap too, I bought them for 1.60/ea the other day on sale)***IIFYM Crew***

I find detour bars absolutely horrendous tasting. The ingredients aren't horrible but lots of artificial junk in there.
Metragenix Bars are usually solid as far as taste. The protein to Calorie ratio is excellent for a protein bar (usually around 250 for a 30 G protein bar). The Hydrolyzed Collagen/Gelatin is pretty low on the list and there are some ingredients you'll actually recognize in there. And they're currently on sale on BB.com. 24 Hour Fitness just had them on sale for 1.75 a bar as well.
Probably not as good for you as Quest Bars. But cheaper.
If anyone knows a good place to buy cheap Quest Bars don't be afraid to send a danm pm!

Based on your 'crew affiliation' - wouldn't it not matter what they are made of?
There's nothing wrong with the ingredient label, and most of the ingredients are natural/organic. It looks like the majority of the protein comes from Soy, which is why they are inexpensive.NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutritionist
