The occupiers are blocking the passage of cars in the direction of Zaporizhia

The Russian occupiers periodically block the movement of cars in captured Vasylivka that want to leave for territory controlled by the Ukrainian government.

Source : the head of the Zaporozhye regional military administration Alexander Starukh on air of the all-Ukrainian telethon, local edition "061

"Periodically close the exit through the only corridor on the Kharkiv-Simferopol highway, through the occupied Vasylivka. It takes place with a certain frequency. Large convoys of 300-400 cars are stopped for 4-5 days. People stand and wait in terrible conditions "Occupiers sometimes demand money for travel, making it difficult to leave the occupied territories."

The head of the military administration said that up to 1,000 residents of Mariupol arrive in Zaporizhia every week as part of the evacuation.

‘Two more Russian colonels have been confirmed as having been killed in Russia’s war in Ukraine - including the country’s “best paratroop commander”.

Lt-Col Alexander Dosyagayev, 34, was a commander of an airborne assault battalion of the 104th paratrooper regiment.

Troops from his 104th air assault regiment were reportedly in Bucha, which was the scene of alleged rape and torture atrocities by Vladimir Putin ’s forces earlier in the war.

His battalion based in Pskov had been recognised as the best in Russia in checks on combat training and military discipline.

At the military festival ‘Army of Russia-2021’, he was judged the winner of the Winged Infantry category.

Russian media outlet Mediazona confirmed the death of another colonel killed earlier in the war which has not been announced.

Col Vladimir Ivanov, 41, has been labelled a “propagandist” by the Ukrainian media because he served in the Russian defence ministry’s department of Information and Mass Communication.

Dosyagayev and Ivanov are the 47th and 48th colonels known to have died fighting for Russian forces in Ukraine.‘

BFBA343D-0A86-4903-95CA-926FEC769EC7.png I am aware that for many it’s hard to digest any info coming from the RT, but there is  a link to the interview she did with MSNBC.

    In a nutshell,

No oil embargo now, because Russia will take the oil to other markets and maybe sell it for even higher price to fill its war chest. So, we are prepared to pay for the oil and fill their war chest ourselves.

They can sell it only for less not more, which they have been doing.

What an utter nonsense coming from the EU Boss.

"they may be few in number but they were running the show until Mariupol was cleaned out. Zelensky was just a puppet; a front of respectability for the Azov Battalion."

Man these Azov guys must be superhuman - a mere single batallion, numerically approximately 0.2% of the Ukrainian armed forces, yet powerful enough to run a whole country of 40 million while simultaneously fighting the Russians. Why are Putin fanboys so unbelievably gullible?

I believe in ‘One China’. Bandit Xi and the terrorist CCP must step down and allow the legitimate government of China - currently based in Taiwan - to take over the running of the entire nation & to schedule free and fair democratic elections. Enough is enough. The people of mainland China have been under the thumb of the terrorist CCP bandits for too long!

    V. Zelensky and the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine prove to be moiraios as they did not give a timely order to evacuate Severodonetsk, resulting in a crushing defeat at this time.

The Russians control 70% of the city . Those who remained of the Ukrainian armed formations defending the city have been trapped to the west in the industrial zone

Chechen forces have captured several who said that the forces of the "Aidar" and "Right Sector" Battalions abandoned them at the most critical moment.

Yesterday there was timely information that an evacuation order would be given to Ukrainian forces. It seems that it was either not given or it came too late as time by hour the Ukrainians' lines of defense collapsed very quickly after the barrage of attacks they received.

This was followed by the entry of Russian forces into the city from different points.

Clashes have erupted in the knots of several Ukrainian armed formations found trapped in Severodonetsk.Several groups, Ground Defense Battalions refuse to carry out orders and take combat positions. In fact, many left the city before the Russian troops entered.

Several blame V. Zelenskiy and the military leadership for the situation in which they have fallen.

Picture of disintegration in the Ukrainian Army

It is no coincidence that Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky fired the head of the branch of the Ukrainian Security Service – SBU, in the Kharkiv region, Roman Dudin, for "failures in the early days of the Russian invasion".

"And, what is very important now, with each other. They have 100% cooperation. The army, the police, the mayor of Kharkiv, the regional state administration – they are all really working for the victory and they are doing it very effectively. Unfortunately, this cannot be said for the local leadership of the SBU," the president said.

"I fired the head of the Ukrainian Security Service in the region because he did not work to protect the city from the early days of the full-scale war, but he was only thinking of myself personally. Law enforcement officers will be informed what the motives are," the head of state said, according to kharkiv's "Kharkiv Today" website.

The West Media propagandists seem to be on edge this morning, they even sound aggressive in their messaging. I wonder why... Is it because they can't face up to the reality that the Russians are gaining ever increasing territory, and that this war will end very soon (which they greatly fear).
Sad lot they are, war mongers and supporters of the corrupt West together with Biden with his weapon deliveries. They just keep praying this 'war' lasts forever..

The pro-Putin / pro-fascist trolls are back with more fanciful tales about ‘disintegrating’ Ukrainian forces. The propaganda gets more desperate by the day as the fascist Putin ‘Army of the Damned’ uses up the last of its reserves.

Thanks for the reply. I take some of your views, however I am yet to clear my mind as to why Putin invade Ukraine. Britain flocking Blacksea is the best of your reasoning, however not a reason for invading a country, isn’t it?

Yes, the main reason is NATO. NATO reason is valid no more imo as Finland joining NATO and Georgia contemplating.

I’ve seen in many blogs, even experts underestimate the potential of Ukraine. Ukraine is the largest country in Europe (only 23% of Russian land id European). Ukraine has the largest Iron Ore (greater than US & Canada), largest in Europe for Titanium, Mercury, Manganese & Uranium. Its Uranium deposits are not only larger they are most concentrated, better than Russia). Most Ukrainian Farmland falls into Chernozem belt, the most fertile land on earth. Ukraine is the second largest wheat producer after Russia only for the reason they produce value added products more in comparison. Ukraine not only possess highest yielding Uranium, but they also have four efficient uranium enriching plants and all Uranium expertise of the Soviet era, A legacy of having USSR governed by Ukrainian Presidents from 1955 to 1982. Therefore, I still stand by my view Putin invaded Ukraine out of fear that it will become a world power or a superpower with an efficient war machine.

European leaders were reluctant to aide Ukraine at the start of the war, nervous of the developments even now. Germany said of Ukraine joining NATO “Ukraine better be in NATO than alone” for good reason.

Another reason in my view you may not agree is the evolvement of nationalism since 1992. Rumours all over that satellite regions in eastern Russia are yearning for autonomy & independence. However from what I’ve learned, the real threat is from the region Putin himself was born. One history academic I met in St. Petersburg told me Ukraine is primarily Slav& Rus (Viking), Moscow region Rus(Viking), Swedish & Slav and St Petersburg region is Viking, Finnish(Sami etc)& Slav. Having that in mind, Putin fabricated history with his Rasputin that Ukraine belongs to Russia to create a greater Slav empire dictated by Moscow. That is my second reason for Putin to invade Ukraine. Cheers.

I have far more concern of the, as you put it "Low life Mongrels" that put out so much disinformation and propaganda, not fully understanding the full details and just run with the narrative. They are lazy slugs.
If that is an indication of the amount of Macro and Micro research that some do here, they are better off sticking to the roulette table rather than investing.

Imagine a game of rugby league where you capitulated in the first 20 minutes (Kyiv and the whole northern front) and then pretended that was just a 'cunning diversion', then went for another try (Kharkiv) and got driven back again, and then pretended just making it to your own 10 metre line (the Donbass) was in fact the only goal all along, and having not even achieved that yet, chest beat about how powerful you are.

Russia is the worst footy team ever, they would even struggle against my useless wests tigers.

Apart from any territory which Putin may be gaining in eastern Ukraine his most important 'gain' is that in the international pariah and despot stakes.

Ukraine's 600,000 NATO supported army and the second largest in Europe just got steam rolled by 190,000 Russian and LPR/DPR forces, little wonder the likes of Germany, France, Poland, etc have little interest in getting involved other than sending old weaponry as a token gesture most of it immediately destroyed by Russian shells and missiles.

The threats of execution of those Ukrainians wanting to surrender is the only reason there is still some resistance, those arguments between Ukrainian forces refusing to go to the front line will soon result in all out attacks towards the commanders and Ukraine secret police.

    thirdgo,

They are all valid reasons, but I don't think they were the actual trigger.

Remember when a few weeks leading up to the invasion, Biden continued his rhetoric that Putin was going to invade Ukraine and had amassed a large amount of troops and tanks on the border. Equally, NATO had also moved troops closer to the border with the exercises taking place with Poland. At the same time in the Donbass region there had been a significant increase of shelling coming from the Ukraine Forces in that region. They too had a large contingency of troops gathered in that region. The previous few months had been relatively quite.

Just a couple of things to note. Putin has the final say in the decision making process. However, just as with Congress in the US, whereby Biden also has to confide before making important strategic decisions, Putin has the Duma to contend with. A few days before the actual invasion a number of things took place. Denis Pushilin, the head of the DPR had signed a decree for mobilisation of the Donetsk region for civilians, as there were fears that the DPR were going to be over run by the Ukraine forces. He also made contact to Russia outlining his concerns that they desperately needed help as they did not have enough manpower to hold the line. Pasechnik also signed a similar decree for the Luhansk People's Republic shortly afterwards. IMO, the major reason to the invasion came when Zalensky publicly stated that they were going to liberate the region and already had the forces in place.

A tell tale sign of the invasion was when Putin gave his speech a couple of nights beforehand. In his speech, he had reiterated his disappointment at Zelensky for not following his election promises of ratifying Minsk2 agreement. Putin made one final comment IMO that sealed it. He lamented that Russia had not gone to the aid of the DPR earlier on in 2015 when they were calling out to be separated from Ukraine, similar to what happened with Crimea at the time. The Donbass people expected Russia to come to their aid and they didn't. Many thousands of civilian deaths over that period from 2014-2022 further on would have played on his mind, when considering he had the power to change the course of history and we may not be even discussing it now. That is the tragedy.

I also believe Biden set a trap using Zelensky as the puppet.
What better way than to entice Russia into war?
It wasn't by accident that there was a monumental shift with a decisive increase in shelling as well as the increase in troops.
Add to that the rhetoric coming from Washington and it only left open two options for Russia.
Allow Donbass to be completely over run by Ukraine forces, not knowing where it stops from there.
The alternative was to take a stance against the West and NATO, knowing full well that sanctions would be imminent and would be far reaching
for the Russian population as a whole.

Contrary to the populace view, I believe he made the correct decision if he ever wants to breakaway from the Unipolar world.
Ukraine had many opportunities to prevent Russia from going down this path.
However, it was through weak leadership by the Zelensky regime to be so enslaved by the hands of the US Policy makers that could have chosen a different path by signing the Minsk Agreement.

The US isn’t pressuring anyone. That’s a favourite fantasy of Russian trolls. The US has been perfectly content for 75 years having us as a very close non-ally.

The truth is that it’s Russia’s actions that have convinced us that staying neutral is no longer enough to stay out of trouble. Russia, and before them the USSR, wanted us to stay neutral for 75 years. Then, in 2021, they started demanding it. Russia demanded, in very shrill tones, that Sweden, Finland, and Ukraine stay neutral forever.

    Then they invaded Ukraine.

Obviously, being neutral is no longer enough for Russia. Until now, Russia/USSR wanted us to stay neutral so it wouldn’t have to fight us in case of a conflict with NATO. Now, Russia demands that we stay neutral so that they can invade us whenever they feel like it.

The US doesn’t have a shit to do with this. Russia has turned hostile, and we react to Russia’s threats.

The odd thing is this: the Russian leadership is totally incapable of understanding this. In the Russian leadership’s mind, fear and only fear motivates people. “Defend their freedom” is not a concept their brains can grasp. Stalin ruled by fear. Then, Hitler invaded, and in purely political terms, Stalin found this to be the perfect situation: suddenly, all of the USSR was on his side. Not because they liked him, but because they feared Hitler even more.

Hence the troll fantasy. They have internalised this, and can no longer imagine that the world functions any other way. If anyone refuses to be oppressed by Russia, there can never be any other reason than that they fear the US even more. They are, quite literally, unable to think the thought that there might be any other motivation.

So, they send fighter jets into our airspace, and believe that we must now fear them more than we fear the US. And when we react by joining an organisation for mutual protection, they get all confused. They never even consider that there might be some other answer than that the US threatened us even more.

And they send out their troll army to try to find out how the US did this.

It’s all rather sad. They live their lives this way. They never feel any other emotion than fear, so they imagine that this is the total spectrum of human emotions.

Sure, that's why Putin assembled his biggest military convey to try and take Kyiv where he ultimately failed and now they are changing their propaganda to the East, why are they trying to take the South then???? And a majority of those living in the East of Ukraine don't want to be ruled under Putin and for those who do they should all migrate to Russia, Putin has given them all Russian passport and evacuated them to Russia before the invasion so just stay there.
