PS5 Restock Update for Walmart, Best Buy, GameStop, Amazon, Costco, Target and More

PlayStation 5 restocks have died down a little over the past week or so, but things are set to get incredibly busy as Black Friday approaches.

We already know about one major drop that is taking place at Walmart and details about other flash sale events are now filtering through.

Here is the latest PS5 restock information for every major outlet in the United States.

Walmart PS5 Restock

We can finally confirm that Walmart is restocking PlayStation 5s for Black Friday.

The next-gen Sony console—and the Xbox Series X—will be offered as an exclusive item for Walmart+ customers. The product pages will go live on Monday, November 22 at 3 p.m. ET.

You are in with a decent chance of getting a PS5, so long as you are sufficiently prepared. You can join Walmart + here, at a monthly cost of $12.95.

According to console tracker Matt Swider, you will not be able to cheat the system by signing up for a free trial of this service. You will need to be paying for it if you want to add a PS5 to your basket on November 22.

On the bright side, you only need to join Walmart + for a single month. If you want, you can cancel your membership immediately after the Black Friday event.

Best Buy PS5 Restock

Best Buy released new PS5 units on Monday, November 15, but these were reserved for the chain's premium TotalTech customers.

This loyalty scheme costs $200 a year, so you will want to think it over before joining.

As a TotalTech member, you will be entitled to a 24/7 support line, assorted discounts and the occasional early-access period for new electronics.

If you are not going to get much use out of those benefits, it is probably not worth investing $200 just for the sake of maybe being able to add a PS5 to your basket.

Lately, most Best Buy restocks have been geared towards TotalTech members, but don't write the retailer off entirely. It still coordinates drops for regular shoppers as well. In fact, Swider has observed that it sometimes alternates between restricted sales and ones that are open to the general public.

GameStop PS5 Restock

On October 29, GameStop organized a number of in-store PS5 drops at locations in Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Nashville, Detroit and North Carolina.

The consoles offered in these events were for collection only, so customers had to be within traveling distance of a flagship store to get one.

There have not been any online restocks since then, so you are still unable to buy a PlayStation 5 from the GameStop website.

PS Direct PS5 Restock

There's still time to register for Sony's own PS5 drop in November.

If you have an active PlayStation Network ID, you can express your interest on the official website. Doing this will not guarantee you an invitation to the restock event, but you might get lucky. More information about this can be found here.

Amazon PS5 Restock

The PS5 remains sold out on the U.S. version of the Amazon website (it sporadically pops up in Canada, though).

With Black Friday now a little over a week away, there will hopefully be more activity on this front soon.

Antonline PS5 Restock

The PS5 is not in stock at Antonline at the moment, but you can always depend on the retailer to have supplies of the Xbox Series S.

The all-digital console is listed on the website in two separate bundles (shipping with wired headsets and colorful controllers), which are both priced at $364.99.

The spare controller is available in "electric yellow" or "shock blue."

Sam's Club PS5 Restock

The situation is similar at Sam's Club, where the Xbox Series S is available in a $379.98 bundle. The console will ship with a PDP media remote and a Rig 500 Pro EX wired headset.

There are no PS5s in stock at Sam's Club right now.

Newegg PS5 Restock

There are no PS5s in today's Newegg shuffle. As usual, the retailer's lottery draw is mainly offering PC components, such as motherboards, video cards and Solid State Drives.
