Survival Horror Games for Ps1 and PS2

Just a quick post to ask for suggestions for good survival Horror games for the Ps1/2.

I know some of them are quite rare and pricey but please don't let that put you off any suggestions.

Rule of rose

Crappy gameplay system...
Amazing crazy story.
Goes into very deep and dark territories few games ever bother with...

Very expensive though

I played rule of rose for the first time this year. as has been said, the gameplay hasnt aged well, but its a great story and fun game anyway.

I loved the obscure games. Fatal Frame is the best horror series in my opinion, you cant go wrong with any of them. Parasite Eve games are among my all time best. And the Silent Hill games are great with the exception of 4. Clock Tower 3 on the ps2 is pretty underrated also.
