Meet The Proud Family members

Oscar Proud is Penny’s father. He is the man to come up with outlandish resolutions to basic tasks. Most of the time his solutions do nothing but aggravate the situation. Oscar tries hard to be a responsible parent, sometimes even too hard. As many fathers do, he is reluctant to accept that Penny is growing up.

While keeping an eye on Penny engagement in household duties, Oscar himself is bossed around by Suga Mama Proud, his mother. Oscar openly displays his affection for Suga Mama. In many episodes, he jumps on his mother’s lap! Thankfully, Suga Mama is vigorous enough for that.

Suga Mama Proud is the oldest member of the Proud Family. Don’t be confused by her appearance, however. Wearing red shades and practicing wrestling, Suga Mama Proud might be the coolest granny on Disney. She is quick to boss around and to discourage Oscar, but despite this, she loves him a lot.

Suga Mama has a pet poodle – Puff the Dog. Poor Puff is often seen tormented by baby twins of the Proud family – BeBe and CeCe.
