Hi Bre866, Do you mean that your files are getting saved to OneDrive? If yes, then they should also be on your computer. The links that you provided didn't work so please provide more information to understand your question better. If possible, provide a screenshot. Note: Hide all personal identifiable information on the screenshot. We'll be here for your response. - Amit

The d.docs.live.net location means OneDrive.

If you are saying that you want to save everything locally, select the option "Save to Computer by default" and also specify a "Default local save location" at File > Options > Save.

Any documents that are currently saved to the cloud or synchronized via the local OneDrive folder must be moved out of that location.

Hi Mr. Blom

Thank you for responding to my request. I did a system recovery and that seemed to help, although it seem to have created some other challenges. But the situation is better, I can use one drive and adobe again.

Thank you

Wade,

In Word for Windows, you can go to File > Options > Save and select the option "Save to Computer by default" and specify a "Default local file location."

You can make OneDrive a lot less intrusive by unlinking your user account from OneDrive. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/turn-off-disable-or-uninstall-onedrive-f32a17ce-3336-40fe-9c38-6efb09f944b0. The screen shot below is for Windows.

By default, the Documents folder is inside the local OneDrive folder on many Windows installations. You need to move files out of the OneDrive folder (including its subfolders), if you don't want those files to synchronize.

You should see an icon for OneDrive on the Windows taskbar.

If you are not seeing it there, you can access OneDrive from within File Explorer.
