We came with my partner to London for a concert and we had the pleasure of staying in this place, the rooms are clean, very good breakfasts and the lady at the reception, Edyta (I hope I spelled it right🤭), was very reliable, smiling and very helpful like an Angel. The train station is 8 minutes' walk away. We will definitely choose this hotel

I stayed at the Dagenham Premier Inn with my son on our recent trip to London. As the place was really busy we initially couldn’t book online however Edyta on reception was super helpful and went the extra mile in assisting me book the hotel. She even told me about the nearest train/ tube station which is Dagenham Heathway and buses 173/74/75 will bring you to the hotel ( 3 stops).
My stay was pleasant, I couldn’t fault the hotel at all, the room was spotless, the shower was perfect and the breakfast was plentiful and a real bargain at £10 per adult with a child eating for free.
I’d certainly recommend the Dagenham Premier Inn to anyone, great hotel and value for money with amazing staff, I’ll definitely be staying here again!

Stayed two nights in a family room. Everything was perfect. Reception staff were very kind. Kids even got new year presents from the reception staff! In their words: “Best Premier inn ever!” Good transport connections by London buses. Parking cost was £5 per night, would welcome Free parking

I made a reservation for interconnecting rooms for my wedding because all my bridesmaids, my aunt and my cousin will be getting ready with me in one location and we needed the space. Before making the reservation I made sure this was something the hotel offered and I was reassured that they do and that I must call back with my reservation number for them to leave notes on my reservation. I did that exactly 2 months before the wedding to ensure that everything would be sorted and I would have nothing to worry about. The day before the wedding when I’m meant to check in, I rang to ensure that I was assigned these rooms because I had a nagging feeling that I would be let down. When I called my fear was confirmed. They assigned me 2 tiny rooms next to each other that were not interconnected for 10 people to be in. I was so distressed because I was told that the rooms were already assigned to other guests and they have nothing for me except these two small rooms. I cried so much, because I was sure my wedding photos were ruined and I made my reservations 2 months in advance and the notes were on my reservation 2 months prior to the wedding day. The hotel has failed me. I showed up and saw Edyta who was doing her best to fix the mess that was created and to console me because I could not stop crying. After all my wedding morning will be a mess and I did everything on my side to make things perfect, it was the hotel management that screwed up. I asked her if she had nothing bigger so she showed me a large room on the other end of the corridor which was connected to another guest’s room. She reassured me that the guest would leave 8am so they will prepare the room immediately and unlock the door once this is done. We gained access to that room about 3 hours before the photographers came and so we scrambled to clear the main room of all the makeup, hair products, etc, while trying to get everyone ready on time. Added stress that was not needed before the wedding. I’m happy that she tried her best, but the hotel failed me horribly if I could rate 0 out of 5 I would.

We chose to stay in the Dagenham Premier Inn as it was air conditioned. However, the air con is controlled by the reception team and there is no way to adjust it in the room (there is also no option to open the window). We were traveling with 2 young kids and stayed in a family room - and with the air con on / off (mostly off) during the night we had an awful night's sleep. Then, when we returned from breakfast, the air con was switched off completely, so by the time we showered and packed up to go, it was unbelievably humid and hot in the room - no air at all. We complained about it at check out.

I then complained to the company under their 'Good night's sleep guarantee' via the online form, however they did not get back to me with any answers. I then called their Guest Support team, but i was told i would not qualify for a refund as i did not complain during the night. I did say to the customer service that I had 7 nights from check out to complain, but I was advised that the terms and conditions changed. However, the terms on their website are as follows:

Is there a time limit on when I can have my money back under the Good Night Guarantee?
Most guests let us know if there’s been a problem while they’re still staying with us. However – if you don’t get the chance to do that, you have up to seven days from check-out to claim on our Good Night Guarantee.

So the website says '7 days from check out', but the Guest Relations argued I had to complain during the night.......

Needless to say, we had an awful experience on the night and an awful experience dealing with Guest Support. We won't be using Premer Inn ever again.

I stayed twice recently at this Premier Inn. I arrived on 8th of October feeling stressed as my husband had finally been admitted to UCLH in London for surgery after a 2 year delay. We live in Oxfordshire and my husband didn’t want me to be in a hotel in central London alone so I booked Dagenham which is just around the corner from my son.
On arrival I explained the circumstances including the fact that my husband would be joining me on the second night on discharge from hospital. With the continuing covid issues hospitals are discharging people asap.
Receptionist Irene immediately changed my room to an accessible room, made sure I had everything I needed and assured me that staff were available 24/7.
The room was perfect for our needs. Spotlessly clean with an amazing walk in shower. When I left to go for a meal with my son Irene enquired about my husband and asked if I needed anything else; provided me with two extra pillows and coffee and milk in the room. When I arrived from the hospital with my husband Irene enquired if we had everything we needed.
On leaving the following day Irene and other staff took the time to say that they hoped he would recover well.

We returned to the hotel on 21st October as my husband had a review at UCLH late in the afternoon and did not want to travel back in the rush hour to Oxfordshire, and also were able to meet with our son. When I rang to book Irene was on reception and remembered us, and enquired about my husband.
On arrival at the room we were again allocated an accessible room which again was perfect. in the room we found a small bottle of red wine and a packet of Jammy Dodgers! This was accompanied with a note wishing my husband a speedy recovery.
Jammy Dodgers! Well! I had bought a packet back from the shop over the road on the morning my husband was discharged from hospital. His favourites! I can only assume Irene saw them in my hand, or in the room as I asked for extra pillows again.

Irene was off duty when we arrived on the 21st but we were told by Irene’s colleague that she had put the wine and biscuits in the room.
What a lovely lady! Thank you Irene!
All the reception staff were caring, empathetic and attentive.

Stayed 4 nights. The window was sealed shut so I had to put up with a stuffy room when the noisy air con switched itself off in the middle of the night, no shaver socket, no breakfast even though a breakfast box option was sold to me. Very noisy during the night, regularly woken up at 2 and 3am by banging and rattling air con pipes. I actually considered sleeping in my van one of the nights. I think my 'key to a good night's sleep' opened the wrong door this time. I definitely won't be back.

I have been staying with Premier Inn most weeks for the last 12 months and recently moved from the Rainham Hotel to the Dagenham Hotel as it was a better location for my work.

Last week I woke up with a few bites that I thought nothing of really, probably just an insect was my initial reaction..... the next day I had around 50 bites and when I checked on these bites and did some research they are from bed bugs, absolutely disgusting.

I immediately reported this and was given a new room, however no one seemed to really care about this issue and it seemed like just offer him a room and we will forget about it. I did move room and by the end of the week i had now more than 100 bites, extremely itchy and unsightly on my hands, feet, arms, legs, back, stomach and head.

To make matters worse one of my colleagues who was also in the hotel has this week broken out with bites in the same way, also getting worse each day. I tried to email Premier in and they cant even be bothered to have the decency to answer my email, so I wrote to them again this morning and got a message back to say sorry our mailbox is full please try again later..... I can imagine its full of customers complaining about this disgusting problem they have with rooms infested with bed bugs.

I find it hard to believe such a large hotel chain can just turn a blind eye to this.

Fairly standard Premier Inn.
Very friendly, helpful staff on arrival and throughout the visit.
Pity you pay each day for parking especially when not in a city centre.
Car park big but not secure so everyone parks as near to hotel as possible so often no spaces left. This makes you worry about the safety of your vehicle.
Wi-Fi quite poor so it continually suggests you upgrade to the payable per day Premier Inn wi-fi.
This should not be so.
Cleanliness of the hotel and room very good.

Stayed for four nights from the 2/03/21 too 06/03/21. Apon arrival spoke to two very polite cheerful receptionists in the evening and on Sunday or Monday night didn't get their names helped me with what trains and stations to go to. Very clean room just a little too hot windows would be helpful. A little expensive but still enjoyed my time seeing friends and family. Overall I'd still stay here again.
