This site is set up like RSVP where you don't get meet anyone real, its all fake photos then they set you up so that you waste your emails so you run out of stamps again so you have to buy more. All these sites are scams. Show details

Joke of a site
Actually a joke of a site. My account got banned and I contacted the support team. They unbanned my account and said to change my profile picture so I did (even though I hadn't violated any of the terms or rules with any of my photos). Then my account gets banned again. I contact support and they say I violated the terms and agreements, yet they can't tell me how? All you do is get banned on that site for no reason. Joke. Show details
Don't use this dating app!
One of the worst dating sites I've used.my account was cancelled without any information to my supposed breach of the terms and conditions.i email them for a explanation and the reply was... you have breached the terms and conditions and this matter is closed now. My experience with Plenty of Fish has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Not only did they fail to offer a refund for a deleted account, but they also prevented me from stopping payments even when the latest deduction fell on the same day I tried to request a refund.The process of stopping payments was needlessly complicated, requiring me to open another account just to prevent recurring payments and obtain a refund for the last deduction. the platform with my financial information. Plenty of Fish's lack of transparency and refusal to offer a straightforward refund process has left me feeling taken advantage of as a customer. It's disheartening to encounter such practices from a platform that should prioritize customer satisfaction and accountability. I sincerely hope that Plenty of Fish addresses these issues and reevaluates their policies to ensure fair treatment of their users in similar situations in the future.
New update messes everything
The new update will only let you select preferences on the 'for you' part of lives but not for the 'near you'. When you go live you hardly have as many viewers, especially those local to you, joining. If you put in a preference on your profile that you would rather talk to men (on a dating site!) then only men should be on there. I'm seeing favourites that had 20+ viewers with just 1-5 viewers now.. they will lose people unless it is changed back. Show details

Just an update to a previous review.I discovered why there are so many profiles on Plenty of Fish. You can't delete your profile, you can delete any photos but your profile remains on the site and that is why there are so many profiles.
I am guessing most of the likes sent to you are site generated hoping you will pay money to see who sent the like. I found profiles of three women who had sent me a like (it took a lot of scrolling) so I sent a message to all three - never received a reply from any of them.
I sent messages to another 3-4 women and the messages were never read - probably because they were on the site in the past.
If you join Plenty of Fish don't pay them any money but my advice is just don't join. Show details
Dangerous, potential risk - Stay Away
Do not use this site. It was rubbish years ago, and worse now. A great number of profiles are fake. Photos of females where you can clearly see the location is either the U.S, Europe, Russia and not in Australia. Photos stolen from people's social media, do a reverse photo search on Bing, Yandex or Primeyes and you will see what I mean. POF, I'm sure these individuals would be happy to know you have stolen their photos and used them to make fake profiles. You also have to navigate this slew of fake profiles (a few photos which I have added to t... Read morehis review) which POF have placed on the site trying to bait you into spending your hard-earned cash. A potentially dangerous site for your own for your own photos as well as personal information and safety. Absolutely no accountability or any checks or balances. ACCC needs to investigate POF and the Federal Government needs to either block the site from Australia or shut it down. Stay away.

I joined Plenty of Fish over the weekend and was surprised by the number of profiles of women. Even the number of women in my region. There were dozens and dozens of female profiles and I don't live in a large city and I am only talking about women over 40.Within 24 hours I had received quite a few likes and one message. ing morning still no reply even though she had been online within the past hour. But I have noticed profiles of women in their late 50's or early 60's with photos of women clearly in their 20's. It is so obvious the photos can't belong to someone over 50 the warning bells were ringing. Also a profile with the location as A Town. Never heard of any place called A Town. How can the site allow people to select a place that doesn't exist? Having read some of the recent reviews about Plenty of Fish I am glad I didn't pay for a membership. BUYER BEWARE.

When I try to find out it states they may have blocked me or have been pulled by pof for investigation. It's difficult to get a definite answer from them.
