  • The girls on this site (yeah, I call them girls because to call them women is absolute ludicrous...
  • Not only that, they have nothing on their site about contacting them or their customer service.
  • Showing clevage shots to get peoples compliments and people to view them there profile.

“Well, there are a few very good things here, that makes...”

anonymous D.

Well, there are a few very good things here, that makes me give a high rate 1. I didn't see any hidden fee, everything is pretty clear 2. There's a free protection app which is a big plus too 3. I used a coupon for a 30% discount and end up with a very nice final price Just one thing I didn't like was the very long process of the purchase, but maybe there can not be any shorter version of this process, so it's fine.

“Even though you guys have a lot of questions answered...”

anonymous R.

Even though you guys have a lot of questions answered in your FAQs, it is tough to follow all those links. I feel you should have a YouTube channel with professional videos teaching how to use all the different settings, like AWS. There is plenty of information and courses on how to use AWS, which makes it so much easier to use them for big projects, unlike regular hosting service providers. Conclusion: Horrible user experience

If you arent white and nude on there they allow the trolls to report you then the site blocks you, guys send sexual rape fantasy's in first messages but thats ok, right? Even when sent screen shots they dont care. I have screen shots of everything i violated nothing, yet my account is restricted? Because i refuse to reply to sexual first messages? These pigs falsely report you? And this is a tame first message, the ones about rape they wont even let me post and these are first messages from users, the same jobless losers that report you for not answering

I signed up, paid for 3 months and first of all got scammed into a so called Split POF online call system. My c/card was charged twice with $5,000.00. Fortunately my bank flagged it. After a week of membership, I was cancelled. No notice, no explanation, no money back! I did not break any rules, on the contrary. I am a very decent and well spoken person. I hope this saves a few smart people money and trouble.

My account at POF was either hacked, migrated or sync with another account and POF wont respond to the constant help requests. The person who now owns my account, a woman, made a token purchase from my account, since my account has my bank information on it but since I am a man looking for a woman she is a hot female the whole male POF membership after her. WTH, how can they not be accountable for this. I have had to cancel my bank cards to avoid this crap from continuing.

Not free after a few weeks, no messages can be sent or received without payment, before that... I got numerous responses all from fake accounts... some fishing for money... the account in site come up in same city, after conversation... then exchange phone number, has foreign area code... their statement saying oh I'm in another state trying to get to your city... soliciting money... more than once... for me the website is a total b. S...

You can't change your birthday or your desired distance of referrals with POF First of all they don't have a phone number for customer service. When I sent a request in for the above corrections they sent me back an answer to a totally different question. Since then they have never responded to my second request for the same information
So basically customer service does not exist at Plenty of fish

Problem with pof

0.01% women are okay looking & have a friendly personality

99.9% are either unattractive/unpleasant/overweight/social misfits/mentally unhinged or deluded. Most tick more than one of these boxes

They all however think they are princesses and men should fall at their feet

I refuse to entertain any contact with these circus freaks

I was hoping to find some one to love. Instead i got nothing but scams. I never join dating site before. In 3 weeks i have 4 ladies ask for money. And POF want money. Please stay away from this site. Thanks God i only join for one month, but managed to get one more payment out of me. I didn't want to use my credit card so i use paypal and paypal let them steal from me. The only thing you going to get from this site is heart. Stay away.

Ladies, be on the look out for Daniel Vine. He's not single. He's engaged to Jill McCoy. Meth heads!

Receiving profiles of persons in other states, different parts of my state. Old platform would mostly show profiles within 50-75 miles of my zip code. Service sucks even if paying member. Too many dumb things. Live is full of hookers and scammers it is a bull$#*! site

Website filled with fakes from stuck up fake princesses to prostitution, scammers seeking your personal information to take advantage of the weak minded and desperate individuals. Stray far from this miserable pit.

It's a terrible site, a bad joke with basically non-existent customer service. It looks like it happens to everyone, but my profile was also banned 3 days after I made a payment. Is this the way these scoundrels make money? After they banned me for no reason with no explanation they tried to charge me with $800. I can't reach out to their customer service. The site is full of fake and outdated profiles as well as con artists. Moreover, the ones who run it are scammers themselves. Just stay well clear of it, brothers!

With all the fake profiles; now the new POF format is far worse than useless, it's a nightmare! On their FB page, they delete all and any posts with any constructive criticism. No integrity whatsoever. A pure scam site now by the look of it.

Plenty of catfish and foreigners who can't speak English. However, even if you're not a paid subscriber you can opt in for only paid subscribers. The site also provides an option for voice calls through the app. I'm going to try the site out for a month or so, then may upgrade to being a paid subscriber. POF has really improved its website since I was on it a year ago. Have fun and meet someone!

So many reasons why I dislike POF so much that I'm only going on when bored to send silly, pointless messages. Tried every type of message in the book but no women ever reply. I did however get a few replies but that was when I removed my picture. It makes me feel like I'm a monster. The women on there are so dam hard to get. They hate just simple hi messages, if I send them a longer message saying how nice they look or their clothes are they instantly block me (even one woman on reddit a member admitted she'd do the same thing if I sent her messages like that too) although my post was aimed at men so what the hell do I say? All the women there are mainly single moms that show off their bodies by showing their tattoos all while their kids are with their fathers plus others even showing their children in photo. Some think their dogs, cats or rabbits as they use some mobile phone app to give themselves animal ears and whiskers. Then there's other women who are already taken who put photographs on with their boyfriends. Finally not forgetting those fake scammers linking you onto porn websites.

Has a lot of fake profiles and rules aren't enforced but you can meet a few decent people on there. Me I've met two people I really like as friends now over two years but I don't pay for a membership. I am sure paid memberships find a lot of people.

Like all online dating sites it's all about the money and they will try to nickle and dime you to death!

I knew this was going to be a bad site when the first profile it showed me was an average looking 44 year old female who's headline said "Please don't be offended if i don't reply" and then went on how you had you to be over 5'8 tall, she was only 5,5. Also must have wit, brilliant sense of humor, positive outlook on life, be well groomed take pride in your appearance and be confident not arrogant... Not wanting much. Went on about how intelligent she is.

Without wishing to be rude she was no stunner & no way could be picky so i immediately thought it this woman is getting overrun with messages then how many are the attractive ones getting? What is it, like 1000 men chasing after 1 woman ratio?

This site is extremely strange its block my mess to guys I like and to prove it we set up a few profiles I sent mess and not one person got my mess I don't why the do that but it's unfair why keep fake profiles and please people stay away from it its rubbish once I I delete my account I won't be going back they are conning people that they are giving you a service once they get to know you they start interfering with your matches and so on it set up. I use to love pof it was a good site but now it's just become a nasty place to be on.

I haven't used this site in a decade. At first I figured the notifications were from people who were able to see my hidden profile. Then the msg started blowing up in my email inbox. Now as I try to purge the suspious activity and close the account completely it wants to do a 2 step verification with a number that's even not mine! Customer service is only by email and they are slow getting back to you.

Pof used to be atleast half decent tho you were more likely to get dirty pics then anything tells but atleast they were real people. Pof is now over run with scammers claiming they are military and then speaking in broken English. Pof is not where you go to meet anyone other then scammers. Such a waste of time and energy.

I met Siria, South Africa, Canada, many oil refinery owners, all liars, and not one decent person from my own state. Every single good looking, well dressed men on the site are scammers. Pay attention to the grammar.

I've made tons of friends from this site. I been on it for over 13 years with the breaks when I had a boyfriend but as soon as my relationship ended there I was on pof again. I feel for the guys cause I heard some horrorstories but I speak for myself and say it has been and continues to be amazing for me. I love how you can scroll through who checks you out plus it seems like a limitless sea of guys wanting to talk or meet I am honest af on my profile and that is the key with any dating site in my opinion.

Full of women who are 3 out of 10 on the looks scale yet all wanting a guy who is a perfect 10
The women I saw were all demanding rude aggressive and very very picky
This despite the fact the were either overweight unattractive or past their best.

The funniest one I saw was a 44 year old 5 foot tall female saying she only dates attractive men over 6 foot and if you didn't fit the bill she'd block you

They should be grateful if anyone messages them nevermind making demands. You don't need to be a genius to work out this won't end up well. They'll be on there for years with their unrealistic nonsense. Not one profile showed any kindness or happiness radiating from it all it was what they wanted not what they could offer

So far so good, met a lot of potentials on here. Not currently using the app because we are talking to some one but I would use them again.

Q&A (194)

Oh yes, they want you to upgrade and pay! But when you pay you will see these profiles who you liked or who liked you disappear. They were nothing but bait-and-switch. You gain nothing when you pay, it's the silliest way to spend money. Are you looking for hook up or relationship? I wanted a relationship and I was really frustrated by Pof. Eventually I found what I was looking for on But I've lost nearly a year on Pof. Not to mention emotional drain and money!

I just deactivated my account. This site is a sewer. Do not pay anything for this site or any site. I searched for free on other site( even paid ones you can search for free) and I saw the same guys on most of the other sites as well. I'm gonna grow old alone unless luck steps in and maybe I'll meet my guy IRL.

Delete AND contact the company. If you know who took your pictures be sure to include the name on the profile that your pictures were used on, so they can deal with that person. Once you have deleted your profile, everything is GONE. I have never had anybody use my pictures on any other sites. I'm no great beauty, that could be the reason, Still, once your profile is deleted, everything is gone.

You cannot do it from the mobile site. You need to use your search, example safari and look up pof desktop version and go to the help in the top left. It will walk you thru it, if I remember correctly. Good luck

First, write to POF and explain. Now, and I mean NOW call up your credit card company and tell them what happened. I am sure POF will not contact you. Make sure to use the word "unacceptable" when describing the consumer service to the CC company about POF. Keep all emails too. Please keep me posted. Thanks Ann B.
