PoF.com / Plenty of Fish I do not appreciate the double standard you have online

you allow men to post terrible pictures , that are not even of them , & you let them have old old pictures that do not even let a lady know what they look like & such far away photos and pictures of their egotistical boats houses motorcycles and their animals or whatever they feel like posting but you keep deleting much of what i post like flowers i grew or cakes i baked ...you dont care ,,, including photos of me you have deleted and i identified myself and went through your grueling invasive process long ago and you made me do it again and kept requiring that i do it over and over and it was killing my neck and back to line my face up with your demands... you people are insane invasive and have a total double standard.. Now i cannot get back on my profile page and you have stolen my photos ..i want my profile restored and i want the same rules for women that you allow for men ... I should not have to keep identifying myself or jumping through your double standard hoops ,,,,,plus you allow separated and married men there and men just looking for sex and you never delete their profile

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish Cannot set my own age range preference

I just signed up for POF yesterday and was stupid enough to pay for it. After getting in I realize I cant set the age range that I'm looking for as well. No matter what I set my preference for, POF changes it on every search. Who are you to dictate what I'm searching for? This is total BS. Already cancelled my membership renewal and I will blast this on 20 consumer sites and out to my 455,000 followers worldwide.

Desired outcome: Desired outcome?? How about refunding my membership fee and fixing your discriminatory practices?

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish Banning account

Plenty of fish is discriminating because of my age I’m an 50 year old woman who wants to date 35 to 55. I wasn’t hiding it from anyone. my account was shut down because I prefer to date younger., Yet, I witnessed so many false profiles on a daily basis. Ryan from the pof team told me this is was the reason. This is age discrimination If younger doesn’t want to speak to an older person they should have the option to set an age range and can be left alone.

Desired outcome: Dating ranges need to change

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish Customer service

I am unable to answer messages sent o my account, I'm being asked to pay, when I've already paid for a membership. I asked about this? And on 4 different occasions their customer service department has answered that my query is NOT from the the same email as I enrolled from, and therefore they could answer my query, or even look into the issue. I explained (4 times) that that's impossible, I've only got one email, I also provided them with my membership Id. The notifications of messages from other member are sent to the email address I'm question, so why can't the issue be resolved

Desired outcome: I would like the membership fee of £104 to be refunded to me, as they have made no attempts to resolve the issue for me

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish My Disappointing Experience on Plenty of Fish: Beware of the Dangers of Online Dating

I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed with my experience on Plenty of Fish (pof.com). I mean, I get it, online dating can be a bit of a crapshoot. But I wasn't expecting to be actively duped by someone I met on there.

Let me tell you about Jon the Musician. That's not his real name, but I don't want to give him any more attention than he deserves. He seemed like a pretty cool guy at first. His profile said he was into healthy living, running, and outdoor exercise - all things that I'm really into too. We messaged back and forth a few times, and his responses were well-written and seemed genuine.

But when we finally met up in person, things started to go downhill pretty quickly. First of all, he looked really sick. I don't know if he had some kind of medical condition or what, but he was way skinnier than I expected and his skin looked kind of dirty. He also seemed to be scratching his face a lot, which was pretty gross.

But the real kicker was when he started talking. He claimed to be a runner, but he didn't even know the distance of a 5K. He said he had a bachelor's degree, but then later admitted that he only had an associate's. And he talked about his music endlessly, like it was the only thing that mattered in the world. It was honestly kind of bizarre.

I started to get the feeling that he was just using POF as a pick-up site. He kept asking me if I wanted to "hang out" after our date, which was a pretty clear indication of what he was after. And when I made an excuse to leave, he texted me later saying "Good luck on your future." Like, what does that even mean?

The whole experience really made me think about the dangers of online dating. You just never know who you're really talking to. They could have multiple profiles, a criminal record, or even an STI. And even if they seem nice and genuine at first, they could be hiding some pretty serious issues.

I'm not saying that online dating is all bad. I know plenty of people who have had great experiences on sites like POF. But after my experience with Jon the Musician, I'm definitely going to be more cautious in the future. You just never know what kind of person you're going to meet.

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish POF Review: A Nightmare of Sociopaths, Cheats, and Entitled Women

I've been using online dating sites on and off since 2006, and I have to say that Plenty of Fish (POF) is the worst site I've ever seen. It's mainly free, which seems to attract the most dishonest, arrogant, and deeply disturbed women you could ever have the misfortune to meet. In my ten+ years of using POF, I've not once met a woman who has been 100% genuine and honest, or who has actually lived up to what they've stated about themselves and their intent within their profiles.

My personal experiences on POF are a nightmare. I met and had 'relationships' with two women who turned out to be very disturbed sociopaths who made my life a living hell. Before I joined POF, I didn't even know what a sociopath was, but now I'm somewhat of an expert in these vile creatures! Meeting one sociopath on POF could just be written off as an unlucky one-off, but meeting two of them back to back suggests this site is infested with them. In fact, I know for a fact that one of these evil creatures still regularly uses POF for its inexhaustible supply of easy unsuspecting victims. They know only too well that lonely men looking for love are easily susceptible to exploitation and manipulation.

I briefly spoke to a woman who openly admitted she was on the rebound and using men for her own gratification and amusement. She had no interest in a relationship but thought it was funny that she was leading men on. She didn't care about using people, and she certainly didn't care about how much hurt and damage she caused.

I've spoken to several women who seem to be proud to be cheating on their partners. I've spoken to several women who stated they weren't interested in hearing from men who were looking for casual sex but who were found out to be secretly on casual sex sites themselves.

Women have messaged and stated they were interested, only for them to suddenly let the conversation stall and disappear because they were talking to multiple guys and just treat people as an option to be discarded when they want. Seems women love the masses of attention they receive.

I had a date with someone who spent the whole time talking about how her kids had been taken off her by the police and social services and admitted to obsessively stalking her ex!

I spent four months getting to know someone only for them to suddenly go quiet on me without a reason or explanation. So I moved on and weeks later re-joined POF only to have the same woman contact me saying she was still interested in dating and I should delete my POF account again, only to then go quiet on me for a second time. I found out she was talking to multiple other guys, so I asked why she was messing me around, and all I got was abuse. This is the quality of women you get on POF.

Women seem to have an air of entitlement on POF. They demand men write a decent message but then ignore them. So why should men put so much time and effort into writing messages when women don't even have the respect to write a thanks but no thanks message in return?

The double standards on POF are incredible. For example, if a woman states she's a PC gamer girl, she's cool, but if a man states he plays PC games, he is told to grow up. If a woman lives at home with parents, it's cute and no big deal, but if a man lives with parents still, he's a pathetic mummy's boy and undateable. If a woman's alternative and into a subculture like Goth or rock, she's sexy and desirable, but if a man's a Goth or into rock music, he's a scruffy weirdo.

Most women's profiles are blank or just very short, or just say 'fill in later' or 'ask me' as they know being female, they don't have to make any effort. These women are lazy, vain, and just rely on their looks.

And I recently received a message from someone who instigated a conversation. I replied, and she sent another message to carry on the chat, but when I tried to reply, I found out she had blocked me. No word, no explanation, no apology... nothing. A typical example of the arrogant, rude, and entitled women that infest POF.

The only positive thing I can say about this site is that it's free to search and send/read messages, but even this is restricted as it just ignores what age range you're looking for and changes it to what the site thinks you should be limited to. I don't know any other site that limits who or what their customers can look for.

Men, if you use POF, there's a good chance you'll meet a sociopath whose only intent is to destroy you, or you'll be made to put in a lot of effort and time to get absolutely nothing in return. Women on POF are lazy, arrogant, entitled, deluded, and are only there to play silly games.

Women, if you just want a lot of attention and an ego stroke without having to do a single thing, or just want to destroy and use men, then this is the place for you.

So unless you want to spend hours writing and sending messages that will just be ignored, or want to meet sociopaths, cheats, players, those with major issues, those who will be having sex with other guys behind your back, the dishonest, and those just fishing for attention, my advice would be to avoid POF like the plague!

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish From POF to Marriage: My Unconventional Love Story

This is gonna be a long one, but hear me out. I'm a 34-year-old mixed male and my experience with POF is one that I'm sure hardly anyone else has ever had. Trust me. So, my marriage ended in May 2013 and by June, I had joined OKcupid and a month later POF. I tried a few other sites like Zoosk, but they seemed like scam sites set up to take your money. POF has pay bait options too, like the "wants to meet you" trash. I just deleted everyone I saw, as I had zero desire to spend any money.

I met and talked through the POF app with a number of women. I primarily used the Locals search. Some conversations were interesting and went on for weeks, others for days. Most women (I would say about 90% that I messaged) simply ignored me. I never sent another message after being ignored. However, I cast many lines into the water. And I mean a lot. My motto was anyone that I deemed attractive who had a decent profile, I sent a message. Yes, I actually read the profile before messaging. Eventually, I discovered that messaging a question to the women as my first message to them increased the odds of receiving a response to about 40%, because they like when you read their profile. It shows that you're observant. However, most women I encountered on there were flaky and expected you to have your entire life set up perfectly so they could just come into it without actually contributing anything. Most of the serious women, we would exchange phone numbers on the site and send additional pics and stuff via text to weed out potential scammers. One woman I met on there, we clicked really well and talked for maybe a couple of months before meeting in person. I thought she was the one for me, but when we met, she said we had bad chemistry. I asked her if we could go on another date to see if it would change and she said yes, but I had to travel to Germany to visit family in Oct 2013. It was already scheduled, so we decided we'd have another date upon my return. I was excited by that prospect.

In Germany, I was busy having a blast but I usually stay up late. I was alone in that venture, so I would spend my evenings playing Android games. One night I got curious about something. Whether the Locals search would work in another country. To my amazement, it did but there was a drastically reduced number of hits and the range was much further. When I was in Texas, the range for the Locals search only went like 10 miles before the maximum numerical limit of the search was reached. In Germany, the numerical limit was not reached. Instead, I was presented with people who were hundreds of miles away. Because I was still curious about this system, I started messaging women, according to the same formula I used in Texas, that I wrote in paragraph 2. Most women had English profiles, and those are the only ones I messaged, as my German is not good enough to use.

After a couple of days, one woman who had not shown up in any of my previous Locals searches popped up. Her tagline was "Just looking for someone to talk to." So I asked "Does that someone have to be an English speaking German?" She responded about 24 hours later. I responded back and she immediately responded. We had an open dialog from there. I discovered that the reason she hadn't appeared in my previous searches was that she was outside of the maximum searchable distance in the Locals search but that she was visiting another city at the time I happened to search again. Because of that, she was close enough to fall within the search criteria. We actually spent all day talking back and forth on POF for days. Then we decided to communicate externally from the site on Whatsapp. We also Skyped once (voice only). I voiced to her that I wanted to meet her, since she was fairly close but she had to travel back again and explained why. That all occurred the first weekend I was there but I was only gonna be in Germany 2 weekends. She worked during the week and the following weekend would not be coming back to the town that was close to me. 3.5-hour drive. She instead had to drive 5 hours from her far town to her family's town. I said to her that I would really like to travel with her. To my surprise, she said OK. I didn't have a car, as I was visiting Germany. So I was gonna ride the train 5 hours to get to where she was and then go on the 5-hour with her to her family. But I didn't go through with it cuz my family objected. I listened to their reasoning, which was more skeptical than anything else. A few days later, I had to go back to Texas.

Back in Texas, we couldn't stop talking about meeting. I told her I wanted to come to Germany to meet her. She said "no." She said if anything, she should come to the US as she's never been here. I said OK. So 4 months later, she came, and what was an amazing online relationship quickly translated into an extremely serious physical relationship. We basically fell in love really fast and I proposed to her. I had planned to do so before she even arrived. We absolutely died when she had to go back to Germany. Not to be deterred, I requested a Fiance Visa (K-1) about 1 week after she left.

The K-1 is not a fast process. So long story short, she has her Visa in hand and is coming to America to live with me on Dec 31, 2014, and we are having a wedding on a Texas beach on Jan 10, 2015!

Update: As of early February 2017, I can confirm that we are still happily married and have a 15-month old beautiful baby girl!

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish Plenty of Fish Review: A Breeding Ground for Bad Behavior and Creeps

I've tried out a lot of dating sites, and let me tell you, they all come with their own set of risks. But Plenty of Fish, or POF as it's commonly known, seems to be a breeding ground for some of the worst behavior I've seen.

As a fairly attractive young woman with a job, transportation, and my own place, I try not to come off as desperate when looking for a significant other. But the way some of the men on this site act makes it hard not to. They'll message me, act interested, and then disappear without explanation, only to pop up weeks or even months later as if nothing happened. If I try to message them back, I'm the one who looks desperate. And if I ignore them, I get harassed and bullied. It's a lose-lose situation.

And don't even get me started on the creeps and perverts on this site. They hide behind well-groomed photos, but then send unsolicited pictures of their private parts and harass you until you block them. And if you block too many people, you get punished. It's ridiculous.

A lot of the reviews on here seem to be geared towards women who are considered "trashy" or "[censored]ish," but let's be real - most of the people on these sites have extreme issues themselves. You have the few normal and honest people, but they're few and far between.

As a woman, I've noticed that a lot of the men on POF are divorced multiple times, have several kids from broken marriages, or just have kids with multiple women. And then there are the pompous, egotistical guys who just want their ego stroked. And let's not forget the older, unattractive men who message women they know are out of their league and then guilt trip them when they're turned down. And then there are the druggies and losers. It's a mess.

But the site is free, so you have to weed through a lot more bottom-of-the-barrel types than you would on paid sites like match.com or eHarmony. And the site itself is a nightmare to navigate, with tons of ads and clutter.

My advice to women on this site is to set your expectations high. Look for gentlemen who pay for dates, offer to pick you up or meet in public places, and message you with thoughtful responses. Watch out for the ones who seem desperate or put their life story out there too soon. And be careful - there are a lot of crazy people on this site.

In my two years on POF, I've only met two men, and neither worked out. The site needs better moderation and screening. But at the end of the day, online dating is always a risk.

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish Plenty of Fish Review: Disappointing Experience with Unrealistic Expectations and Uncomfortable Situations

I recently tried out Plenty of Fish (pof.com) and let me tell you, it was quite an experience. I was hoping to find a nice woman to connect with, but unfortunately, I came across a lot of low-life females who were pretending to be someone they're not. Specifically, I noticed a lot of Black women who live in slums and have unrealistic expectations from men. It was quite disappointing to see.

However, I did manage to have a good conversation with one woman who was in my age group. We talked online for about two weeks before exchanging numbers and talking on the phone. Unfortunately, during one of our conversations, she told me about a white guy she had chatted with online who wanted sex. She was so upset that she threatened to get her brothers and son to kill him. I was shocked and had to excuse myself from the conversation. It was definitely a red flag.

Despite this, we decided to meet up for a movie and dinner. I was a bit nervous because I had lied to her about my car. I didn't want to reveal my high-end vehicle and deal with any judgment or sizing up. I was also hesitant because she lived in Baltimore, and I had to drive through a rough neighborhood to get to her. I was worried about my safety, but I decided to take the risk.

When I arrived, I noticed that she had posted old pictures of herself and wasn't dressed appropriately for a first date. However, we had a good conversation and enjoyed each other's company. Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when we went to the theater. She wanted to cuddle up because she was cold, and I was fine with that. However, she started touching me inappropriately, and I was extremely uncomfortable. I couldn't believe how forward she was being.

After the movie, I drove her home, and she reminded me about a promise I had made to fix her headboard. I reluctantly went into her apartment, and that's when things got even worse. Her brother and son were sleeping in the living room, and the place was infested with roaches. I couldn't believe it. I quickly fixed the headboard and left as soon as possible.

Overall, my experience with Plenty of Fish was not great. I encountered a lot of women who were not genuine and had unrealistic expectations. I also had to deal with some uncomfortable situations that I would rather forget. I have since closed my account and will not be using the site again.

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish Navigating the World of Online Dating: A Review of POF (Plenty of Fish)

POF, or Plenty of Fish, is a dating site that has more people than any other dating site out there. Unlike other dating sites, POF has real profiles and not just fake ones. However, there are some scammers on the site, so it's important to be careful.

One of the biggest problems with POF is that there are more men than women on the site. This means that women get bombarded with messages and can't possibly respond to all of them. Men need to learn to be articulate and focus on the meaning of what they say, instead of just focusing on the lines and words.

Women also need to be careful on the site, as there are some creeps and perverts out there. However, if they are more self-aware, they can avoid a lot of this garbage.

POF is not a numbers game. You can't just send out mass emails and expect to get a response. You need to focus on one person at a time and be genuine in your interactions. People are looking for a good time, but they also want to connect with someone on a deeper level.

One of the problems with POF is that it can be a fool's paradise. People think that there are so many options out there that they can afford to be picky and act crabby and cranky. However, this is not the case. People need to be self-aware and know their worth. They need to treat others with respect and not expect the other person to do all the work.

The site is not without its problems, however. The founder, Markus, created the site without much knowledge of how to build a site or a server. The matching system needs an overhaul, as there are too many incompatible and uncompromising people on the site.

Despite its problems, POF is still a good option for those looking to date online. It's free and has a large number of users. Just be careful and take your time. Don't get frustrated if it's not working out, just have fun and keep trying. Internet dating is like living in New York City, those with a weak frame don't make it.

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish Navigating the Ups and Downs of POF: A Review of Plenty of Fish Dating Site

POF, or Plenty of Fish, is a dating site that has its ups and downs. It can be a great place to meet new people and potentially find love, but it can also be a frustrating experience. One of the biggest issues with POF is the presence of fake profiles and people who are not genuine. It can be difficult to navigate through all of the noise and find someone who is truly compatible with you.

However, despite the challenges, it is important to remember that there are still good people out there who are looking for love. It is important to keep an open mind and not give up on the search for a compatible mate. While there may be some individuals who are out to cause chaos and mistrust, they are in the minority. The majority of people on POF are just like you, looking for love and companionship.

One of the keys to success on POF is to be patient and persistent. It may take some time to find someone who is truly compatible with you, but it is worth the effort. It is also important to be honest and upfront about what you are looking for in a relationship. This will help you attract the right kind of people and avoid wasting time on those who are not a good match.

Another important tip is to be cautious and protect yourself from those who may be trying to scam or deceive you. If someone seems too good to be true or is asking for money or personal information, it is best to err on the side of caution and avoid them.

Overall, POF can be a great place to meet new people and potentially find love. While there are some challenges and frustrations, it is important to stay positive and keep an open mind. With patience, persistence, and a little bit of luck, you may just find the perfect match on POF.

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish Navigating the Shallow Waters of POF: A Review of the Dating App for Men

get hundreds of messages from women. It's all about looks, and that's the sad truth of it all. Women on POF are shallow, and only care about how a man looks. They don't care about his personality, his interests, or anything else. It's all about looks.

But, despite all of this, I still use POF. Why? Because there are still some decent women on there. Women who aren't shallow, who care about more than just looks. Women who are kind, caring, and genuine. And, if you're lucky enough to find one of these women, then you're in for a treat.

So, if you're a guy looking for love on POF, don't give up hope. Yes, there are a lot of shallow women on there, but there are also some great women too. Keep searching, keep messaging, and eventually, you'll find the one. And, when you do, you'll forget about all the shallow women who ignored you, and you'll be grateful that you didn't give up.

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish POF Review: Beware of Fake Profiles and Scammers

immediately know that it's a fake profile. Other times the city is close to me but when I ask her about it she claims to be living in another country. This is a common scam on POF where people pretend to be someone they're not in order to get money from unsuspecting users.

In conclusion, POF is not a site I would recommend to anyone looking for a serious relationship. The site is full of fake profiles, scammers, and people who are just looking for a quick hookup. The fact that you have to pay to send messages and view profiles is just another way for POF to make money off of their users. If you're looking for a real relationship, I suggest trying a different site or even meeting people in person. Don't waste your time or money on POF.

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish My Mixed Experiences on Plenty of Fish: Nice Guys, Tightwads, and Disasters

how he was tight with money and never offered to pay for anything. He got defensive and said he was saving up for a house and didn't have much money to spare. Fair enough, but at least offer to go halves or something. We ended things there and then.

Subject 2 - POF 2015

This guy was a bit older, 42 I think. We chatted for a while before deciding to meet up. We went for a walk in a local park and had a picnic. It was really nice, we got on well and had a lot in common. We went on a few more dates, to the cinema and out for dinner. He always offered to pay and was really generous. We ended up dating for a few months but it just didn't work out in the end. We're still friends though and talk occasionally.

Subject 3 - POF 2016

This guy was a disaster from the start. We met up for a drink and he was already drunk when I got there. He was slurring his words and stumbling around. I tried to make the best of it and we chatted for a bit, but it was clear he was too drunk to really have a proper conversation. He kept trying to touch me and kiss me, even though I kept pushing him away. I eventually made an excuse and left. He messaged me the next day apologizing and saying he was really nervous and had a few too many drinks to calm his nerves. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and agreed to meet up again. This time he was sober but still really awkward. He kept talking about his ex-girlfriend and how much he missed her. I tried to change the subject but he kept bringing it back to her. I eventually made another excuse and left. He messaged me again apologizing and saying he was still really hung up on his ex. I told him I didn't think it was going to work out and we ended things there.

Subject 4 - POF 2017

This guy was really sweet.

Overall, my experiences on Plenty of Fish have been mixed. I've met some really nice guys and some not so nice guys. It's definitely worth giving it a try though, you never know who you might meet. Just be careful and don't rush into anything. Take your time and get to know the person before meeting up. Good luck!

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish The Truth About Online Dating for Men: A Waste of Time and Energy

I did some experiments to see if online dating is worth it for men. Let me tell you, it's a waste of time. I made a profile with the ugliest woman I could find and I got 50-65 messages every day. Then I made a profile with an Instagram model's pics and got over 3,000 messages in one day. But when I searched for women in my area, I found only 2 real women online at 4AM. The rest were transvestites and prostitutes. Meanwhile, there were 35 pages of men online. That's at least 700 guys for only 2 women! It's impossible for any single woman to still be single with those odds, yet the same women are logged in day and night for years.

I even made a profile with a male model's pics and got a slight increase in responses from women, but mostly from women who rate a 2 or 3. The ratios of men to women are insane, sometimes being 700:1. Hypergamy has always existed with women, but online it quadruples. Even a 2 or 3 won't talk to a man unless he's a solid 10. On the other hand, if you like transvestites, hookers, or fat, tattooed single moms with attitude, you're in luck. But be prepared to compete with thousands of other desperate, lonely men.

POF is not a dating site. It's just an attention-[censored] site for women to get free attention and validation from male simps. Most women have no intention of meeting or dating anyone. They just log in day and night for years. I'm an attractive, successful man and I can't pull a woman to save my life on there unless I go way below my standards. Many years ago, I could, but now it's completely dead. If you're a man thinking of online dating, especially POF, don't bother.

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish POF: Anti-Male, Nazi Thought-Police - Avoid This Site Like the Plague!

I totally agree with many of the comments on here about POF. I had a profile on there a couple of years ago, and pride myself on being polite and friendly to all. Then one day my profile had just disappeared for no reason! About a week or so before that, some girl had accused me of not being single (just because I wasn't on there 24/7) and I politely told her that I WAS single. The only thing that I can think of is that she reported me for "not being single" and my profile was deleted! Several e-mails to the Fuhrer (sorry, Frind) and the "customer service" e-mail address went unanswered, so I moved on.

I have recently had another profile, but I see that men are NOT allowed to post shirtless pics anymore, whilst women can post pictures of themselves in their underwear or bikini. I had a message from Hitler (sorry, Frind) stating that my main picture MUST show my face, and they had "kindly" swapped my main pic for one of the others. I was also told that this would be my "only" warning. However, my original main pic DID show my face, so I decided to try an experiment, and clicked "Report user if main pic does not show their face" on a woman's profile which regularly appeared. This just showed her legs and her high heels. The profile stayed the same, so I reported it again, but STILL it was there! The only thing that I can think of is that some bimbos that I hadn't replied to (as I wasn't interested in their arrogant, narcissistic profiles) had clicked on the "Report user if main pic does not show their face" link. Being a man, I had then received the "warning" (oooh, I'm trembling, Mr Nazi Frind) even though - as I mentioned earler - my main pic DID show my face.

Anyway, as of today my profile has been deleted (again for no reason). It is probably another case of "disturbed" female users reporting me for pathetic, untrue reasons (due to my ignoring their messages) and POF being the man-hating, feminist-friendly, anti-male crap that it is did not even bother to check, but just deleted my profile! OK, Herr Frind... stick your rubbish site where the Sun doesn't shine, because I won't be back!

Whilst I have chatted with some nice women on there, most are either full of themselves, mirror posers, psychos and absolute nutters. Heinrich Frind has also stopped men from contacting women with more than a fourteen year age gap. How typically arrogant of "The Creator" to dictate to male users who they can contact, let alone what they can say. Yes, there are lots of perverts out there (some of them are male) but why should ALL men have to pay the price for these? And why should women be elevated to the status of goddesses, so that they can simply report someone that they either don't like (or who has dared NOT to reply to their messages) and get that person's profile deleted?

There is a link asking users what they think POF should do with the profile of the person that they are reporting, and part of this is to delete the profile (and I can guarantee that a male reporting a female will NEVER be listened to). It seems that Frind and his staff HATE men, and consider them all to be perverts/liars/rapists. With this in mind, men... do you really want to give your time and/or money to a site that thinks that of you? Many (once standard) features on the site now are paid-for features (such as hiding your profile, etc). My question is this:- why would you give your money to these anti-male, Nazi thought-police? After all, they could just delete your profile when some sad pathetic loser decides to report you for nothing at all apart from not replying to her... and would you get a refund? I'm not sure on that one, but I wouldn't be surprised if the answer is a resounding "no".

AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE. Personally, I wouldn't even give POF one star, but there doesn't seem to be an option on here to give none.

PoF.com / Plenty of Fish Plenty of Fish Review: A Fresh Look and Improved UI, But Is It Worth the Cost?

The Plenty of Fish website and mobile app have undergone a recent update, giving it a fresh new look with a pinkish or salmon-colored framework. The user interface has also been improved, making it feel less outdated and more similar to other popular dating apps like Tinder. When filling out your profile, you'll notice little circles or ovals that you can select to indicate your interests, such as tennis, music, or movies.

However, the new changes also mean that you can only message one person for free per every 24 hours. If you want to message more people, you'll need to pay a minimum of $40 for a 3-month subscription package. Additionally, if you're not a paid subscriber, you won't be able to see who has viewed your profile or who you've matched with from the "Meet Me" section. While the site is technically free, it's difficult to use effectively without paying for a subscription, especially if you're a male user.

Plenty of Fish also uses a "Boost" system, similar to Tinder, where you can pay to have your profile seen more often. Without purchasing Boosts, your profile won't be as visible, especially in the "Meet Me" section. Boosts are not included in the subscription package, so you'll need to pay extra for them. However, using Boosts can increase the number of views you get on your profile.

If you send messages on Plenty of Fish, you won't be able to delete them from your sent box. This means that if you're sensitive about being "left on read," you'll need to be prepared to see that the other person has read your message. The quality of the people on the site is subjective, but it seems that many of the blatant fakes and bots have been weeded out. However, women still receive more messages and views than men, so male users will need to send several messages a day to get a response.

Plenty of Fish also age-brackets and age-discriminates users, meaning that you can only talk to people within a certain age range. Some users also disable messaging, which means that you won't be able to message them at all if you don't fit their criteria. However, you can still "like" their profile by clicking on the heart icon.

Overall, if you're willing to pay for a subscription and Boosts, and you have patience and endurance, you might be able to catch a fish or two on Plenty of Fish. Just be aware of the limitations and costs associated with using the site.
