I hike around my hometown in Colorado pretty regularly and consider myself to be in good shape. So I was surprised after reading "easy hike," "moderate hike," "short hike," "great hike for young kids" and then going up the trail past Battle Creek Falls myself. Granted, my BYU son and I hiked much further than just tot he falls. But it's a steep hike in some place, even just up to the falls ... especially the last hundred yards or so ... awfully steep at the "end" to get up to the top where the water goes over the falls! Maybe we were also pushing it because we had a bit of a time constraint. But it was tough in places, especially that last bit up to the falls and then up further than the falls.

Not too far beyond the falls, the trail crossed the stream. I'm sure there are years or other times of the year when the stream isn't deep or very fast. But it was running pretty fast when we were there and that was September, long after we expected the run-off to have slowed. There was a second place up further where the trail traversed the stream again. Apparently there used to be more bridges (years ago?), but there was only one bridge when we hiked it and the other times you had to go through the water. Again, this was up the trail further, past the main waterfall. We enjoyed the hike. I just wanted to note that I didn't consider it particularly "easy."

A fun experience but the hidden fees pissed me off: after you go through the fairly lengthy sign up process and go to pay, you are THEN told there is an additional $9 fee that was never disclosed at the start for "membership". What a bunch of crap - just a pure money grab after you've done everything. Not impressed.

Great view but it was a butt-kicker. the trail was sandy and slippery on the way down. It was a hot day so make sure you bring plenty of water. The views were amazing but it was a little more difficult than I imagined at the start.

I went with a group of coworkers and we all loved it so much. I had been a few times but the other six had not ever been axe throwing. We all had a blast and want to go back. We had a wonderful person helping us who was patient but so helpful. This is one of my favorite new activities. This place is great!!!

I got a Chef Knife forging session for my husband for his birthday and he LOVED it! The staff at Stone Fox were all amazing, and they were extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this to anyone who has ever wanted to try their hand at forging a blade!

A must for escape room lovers. The attention to detail shows up in the storytelling, riddles, props, and design. The room was satisfying to play and solve. Our group kept smiling and laughing. It was a great time!
